The Dai Nam University brand is associated with the slogan "Learning to change" which is the guiding principle in strategic orientation and organization of all activities of the University. The Youth Union movement is no exception when over the past 10 years, it has always strived towards the goal of changing the mindset and perfecting the personality of students through events with profound educational significance.

The Dai Nam University brand is associated with the slogan "Learning to change" which is the guiding principle in strategic orientation and organization of all activities of the University. The Youth Union movement is no exception when over the past 10 years, it has always strived towards the goal of changing the mindset and perfecting the personality of students through events with profound educational significance.
After 10 years of efforts, the Youth Union movement activities of Dai Nam University have demonstrated their maturity with intellectual creativity and enthusiasm with activities that have received resonance from thousands of Dai Nam students' hearts and recognition from millions of people across the country. The process of training students is like growing beautiful flowers. The flower grower not only takes care of the flowers to bloom brilliantly but also makes them fragrant. Similarly, Dai Nam University students, in addition to being trained solidly in terms of expertise, are also cultivated with knowledge of life skills and personality improvement through humanistic Union movement activities, guiding them to reach the values of truth - goodness - beauty in life.
Dai Nam University – 10 years of social responsibility
1. Activity "Banh nghia tinh"
Every year, when Tet comes, all teachers and students of Dai Nam University are busy wrapping thousands of green Chung cakes to send to people in less fortunate circumstances in society. The Chung cakes have become a great lesson for students about sharing happiness with the unfortunate in society. In 2012, Dai Nam University carried out the first Chung cakes and up to now, it has been carried out 5 times with the participation of thousands of students and lecturers directly wrapping and giving 5,000 Chung cakes to about 20 units and individuals in less fortunate circumstances.
2. Warm winter love
“Warm Winter Love” is one of many meaningful charity activities of teachers and students of Dai Nam University. Through donations and support from cash to clothes, shoes, blankets, books, school supplies, etc., with the desire to help and share difficulties with ethnic minorities and children in the highlands, bringing a warmer winter to the less fortunate on all roads of the country. These are a series of charity activities called: Warm porridge of love - cooking and giving porridge to workers and homeless people on winter nights; Warm wool of love - knitting and collecting warm clothes to give to children and people in the highlands; Scrap metal - collecting scrap to sell to raise funds to give to disadvantaged children, etc.
And especially in 2016, Dai Nam University's delegation traveled hundreds of kilometers to invest in installing a library including: Projector system, computers, and hundreds of other supplementary books for primary school students in the flood-hit area of Huong Son, Ha Tinh.
3. Green summer volunteer activities
Over the past 8 years, through all forms of fundraising, Green Summer activities have contributed to helping families and individuals in particularly difficult localities in remote provinces: Ha Giang, Bac Giang, Son La, Thanh Hoa... With 8 years of implementation, the footprints of Dai Nam University's children are imprinted on every remote road of the Fatherland.
4. Activity "Collecting waste in public places"
After 4 years of maintenance and organization, this activity has attracted more than 2,000 students to participate at 10 public places: West Lake, Tran Quoc Pagoda, Hoan Kiem Lake, Thu Le Park... contributing to educating students' awareness and sending a message of environmental protection to millions of people in society.
I. Lessons from Learning while playing – Playing while learning
1. Traditional camp
Not stopping at the goal of organizing purely recreational activities for students, the Youth Union movement committee always strives to create a useful camping playground that educates students about social responsibility. The traditional camping festival each year has a theme, in addition to updating social knowledge for students, the traditional camping festival also contributes to conveying meaningful and good messages to the community and society. After 6 times of taking place, the camping activities have created an explosion of nearly 300 booths with the participation of more than 9,000 students participating each year with the themes: Dai Nam University with love for the sea and islands, Dai Nam University with urban culture and civilization, Green University - urban culture and civilization, Vietnamese culture - tradition and integration, Green environment - green start-up, Vietnam Smile - Viet Nam Smile . The camping events also attract the attention of press and television units, contributing to creating a great effect in society.
2. Cultural activities towards the community
In addition to being highly entertaining, the activities are also educational through fun activities: fashion shows calling for environmental protection, flashmob dancing, puzzles, Christmas balls, Halloween costumes, fitness competitions, cultural heritage-themed performances... creating a healthy and positive playground for students, exchanging and uniting faculties in the school with diverse topical topics in harmony with the social pulse.
After 10 years of continuous efforts, the Movement Board - Dai Nam Youth Union has really grown, becoming a strong arm of the school's leadership. Together with the school's leadership, we guide and guide students to not only complete their professional studies well but also perfect their skills, especially life skills, to become responsible people: responsible for their lives, responsible for their families and especially responsible for society!...
