All programs and activities held by Dai Nam University have brought good effects and influences which help Dai Nam University’s students reassess their own positions and roles in the community, and grow up both in mind and action

In addition to emulation in good learning and teaching, movement activities, community activities have been always a special focus by Dai Nam University. Since the school’s establishment and development, Dai Nam University is always accompanied by the activities of the community such as: Blood donation, support programs for victims in floods in Central Regions of Vietnam; victims of the tsunami in Japan; an annual program "Love Cakes” for cancer patients in hospitals; students’ voluntary programs, Green summer program for poor remote villages in mountainous northern provinces.

Together with social activities for the communities, Dai Nam University continuously holds other activities to boost students’ skills, knowledge and responsibility of the society.
- The conference “Dai Nam Students with transportation cultures” was a hot dispute in March 2012. With a large number of representatives’ presence such as National Assembly Representative, a renowned historian Quoc Trung Duong, Doctor of History Anh Vuong Ngo, Architect Anh Huy Tran and about 1,000 Dai Nam University’s students, the conference had wide and deep influences on students’ activities with transportation cultures which were organized by the Ministry of Training and Education promptly then.

- “Dai Nam University’s youngsters with national cultural heritage” and “Students with Islands” are meaningful programs for students. The common target of those ones is to educate students about traditional ethnic culture, love of the motherland, country and islands’ sovereign. By that way, lecturers and students at Dai Nam University can jointly maintain and develop beauties in traditional culture for a better community.

In the last two years, Dai Nam University has taken part in Vietnamese poetry day on the Full moon of January at the Temple of Literature and left beautiful impressions in the festival. In the first year for competition, Dai Nam University got the third prize; however, in the second time “ The 12^th Vietnamese poetry day in 2014 with the topic “ Spring of the country from Dien Bien to Truong Sa”, the first prize was awarded to Dai Nam University’s unique works. It is likely that Dai Nam University’s wonderful performances made a strong impression on Poetry Festival 2014.
