Dai Nam University - Where dreams take flight

There is a great saying: “Today’s success is the result of past work and creativity, but it is the challenge of the future.” Looking back 10 years ago, it was not a long nor a short journey for me and my son.

There is a great saying: “Today’s success is the result of past work and creativity, but it is the challenge of the future.” Looking back 10 years ago, it was not a long nor a short journey for me and my son.
As parents, everyone wants their children to grow up to be independent, have the will to overcome difficulties and have the right development orientation. In 2007, after graduating from high school, my son applied for his first choice to the University of Transport.
Due to the lack of 0.75 points, my child could not become a student at the University of Transport. The most important thing at that time was that I needed to guide my child to choose the second choice. Through the mass media, I learned about Dai Nam University. I was quite impressed because I learned that the members of the Board of Directors of the School were former teachers of universities and domestic business owners. The head of the Board is the Chairman of the Board - Dr. Le Dac Son - former lecturer at Hanoi University of Science and Technology, who has been the General Director of a large joint stock commercial bank in Vietnam for nearly 10 years.
What worried me the most was that the school had just enrolled its first class, and I didn’t know if the training quality was guaranteed. However, I reassured myself that my child was studying banking under the training of the CEO of a bank. There was nothing more wonderful than this. Until now, I always believed that this decision was correct and timely.
During the time studying and training at Dai Nam, I followed my son closely. What I appreciate most is that Mr. Le Dac Son often has motivational talks and orientations for students every month. Through my son's story, I learned that Dai Nam's training program is quite open, focusing on students, theory goes hand in hand with practice, many competitions are launched so that students can show their creativity to the fullest. I also encourage my son to spend time working part-time at companies in addition to focusing on studying in the classroom to gain work experience and practice soft skills.
10 years since enrolling at Dai Nam, my son is currently working at the Headquarters - Military Bank. In addition, he also tried his hand at starting a business with the FIGO office fashion brand (a chain of 4 shops with sales of 15 billion VND in 2016). For many people, these are just modest achievements. But for me, it is boundless pride. I would like to express my deep gratitude to Mr. Le Dac Son for his great contributions in training and inspiring my son to take the first correct and steady steps. I also congratulate Dai Nam on its 10th anniversary and wish Dai Nam to have more and more successful students.
