Dai Nam University Welcomes the Year of the Snake – Prepared for a New Chapter

Spring brings new beginnings and new hopes. In the joyful atmosphere of the first day of the year, Dai Nam University proudly hosted the 2025 Spring Opening Ceremony, marking a year full of promise, collaboration, and remarkable achievements.

The lively drumbeats mark the beginning of a fortune year

The rhythmic sound of festive drums, accompanied by vibrant, graceful lion dancers, welcome the new year. This is not only a traditional ritual but also a wish for a smooth academic year, a new journey filled with success and growth. 

University Leadership Extends New Year Greetings - Fostering Confidence 

In a respectful and warm setting, the university council conveys their sincere New year wishes to all faculty, staff, and employees, inspiring renewed dedication and collective effort for the year ahead. 

Dr. Le Dac Son - Chairman of the University Council shared: “The year 2025 presents numerous new opportunities. I hope that every member of Dai Nam University will remain in unity, embrace innovation, and foster creativity, propelling the university to greater success and solidifying its reputation as a leading center of education.”

Mr. Do Quan - Vice Chairman of the University Council affirmed: “Reflecting on the path we have journeyed, we have every reason to take pride in our achievements. However, numerous ambitious goals ahead. I am confident that with unity .”

Ms. Cao Thi Hoa – Vice Rector, highlighted the critical importance of health: “Good health is the foundation of everything! I sincerely hope that all faculty and staff at Dai Nam University will prioritize their well-being. With good health, we can work more effectively, innovate more creatively, and inspire a positive attitude in our colleagues and students. Let us begin the new year with a body full of energy and a resilient spirit!”

Lucky Draw - Fostering Joy, and Strengthening Connections

The festive atmosphere was further enriched by the New Year’s Lucky Draw event,  where exclusive prizes were awarded to fortune recipients. The cheers and laughter echoed throughout, making the inaugural day of the year even more memorable.

New Year’s Red Envelopes - Spreading Luck and Happiness

Appreciate the silent contributions - The first recipients of the red envelopes from the Chairman of the School Board were the security guards and cleaning staff.

One of the most emotional moments at Dai Nam University’s 2025 New Year’s Opening Ceremony was when Dr. Le Dac Son, Chairman of the University Council, personally handed out red envelopes to the security guards and cleaning staff of the university. 

Dr. Le Dac Son shared: "Everyone plays a pivotal role in the university. The lecturers impart knowledge, but the staff and security guards are the ones who keep the campus clean, safe, and peaceful. Their efforts, though often unseen, are indispensable. We deeply appreciate and are grateful for all their contributions."

A staff member said: "The Chairman personally handed a red envelope to each of us, asked about our health, and encouraged us. This thoughtful action made me feel appreciated and affirmed the value of my work. This Tet is more meaningful than ever before!"

This simple yet meaningful moment highlights the strong sense of unity and the genuine care that Dai Nam University shows to every member of its community – from faculty to the dedicated staff – all working together to foster a warm and supportive educational environment.
