In order to promote international cooperation activities, improve the quality of university education, and demonstrate social responsibility for the quality of nursing human resources, on the morning of May 9, 2017, Dai Nam University signed a cooperation agreement on training and receiving international students with Nishi Nippon Short-term University, Japan.

Attending the ceremony were Dr. Le Dac Son - Chairman of the Board of Directors of Dai Nam University, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Phan Trong Phuc - Principal of the University, Dr. Luong Cao Dong, MSc. Nguyen Viet Anh - Vice Principal of the University, MSc. Nguyen Trong Minh - Deputy Head of the Department of Scientific Research.
On the side of Nishi Nippon School, there was Ms. Sumi Koga - Training Director, along with 4 representatives present at the ceremony to discuss and sign the agreement between the two parties.
Attending the ceremony were Dr. Le Dac Son - Chairman of the Board of Directors of Dai Nam University, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Phan Trong Phuc - Principal of the University, Dr. Luong Cao Dong, MSc. Nguyen Viet Anh - Vice Principal of the University, MSc. Nguyen Trong Minh - Deputy Head of the Department of Scientific Research.
On the side of Nishi Nippon School, there was Ms. Sumi Koga - Training Director, along with 4 representatives present at the ceremony to discuss and sign the agreement between the two parties.

Both sides watched a clip introducing an overview of Dai Nam University.
At the ceremony, the two sides discussed the Agreement on receiving international students between the two schools and agreed on the contents of the memorandum of cooperation.
According to the Cooperation Agreement between Dai Nam University, Vietnam and Nishi Nippon Short-term University, Japan, the two sides agreed on 10 memorandums of understanding, especially important contents related to student benefits as follows:
1. Nishi Nippon Junior College accepts students with Japanese proficiency certificate N3 or higher or equivalent communication ability from Dai Nam University to study abroad.
2. Every year in April, students of Dai Nam University will enroll in the Social Welfare Department of Nishi Nippon University and the study period is 02 years, with an enrollment quota of about 10 people.
3. Students from Dai Nam University will receive a 50% reduction in tuition fees when enrolling in the Social Welfare Department of Nishi Nippon Short-term University.
4. During the time students study abroad at Nishi Nippon Junior College, the school will assign staff in charge of introducing part-time jobs as well as supporting students' living expenses.
5. Career guidance for Nishi Nippon College graduates will be handled by the Career Support Office and faculty members.

Cooperation agreement signed between the two parties
Speaking at the ceremony, Dr. Le Dac Son - Chairman of the Board of Directors of Dai Nam University expressed his thanks for the attention of the other school to Dai Nam. He hopes that the training cooperation between Dai Nam and Nishi Nippon will become increasingly stronger, constantly striving to improve the quality of training in all majors, especially Nursing. Dai Nam University hopes to have a student exchange training relationship between the two schools under the 2+2 program, combining 2 years in Dai Nam, Vietnam and 2 years in Nishi Nippon, Japan, recognizing the results of mutual learning during the training process, aiming to improve the quality of human resources in the Nursing industry for society.

On behalf of Nishi Nippon University, Ms. Sumi Koga thanked the school's leadership for their interest in the cooperation. She also hoped that the international cooperation between the two sides would be successful, not only in the Faculty of Nursing, but also in other training majors in the future.
