In order to encourage the learning movement and contribute to the education of the homeland, Dr. Le Dac Son - Chairman of the Board of Directors of Dai Nam University signed a decision to grant the Talent Encouragement Scholarship to students of Dong Tien commune - Yen Phong - Bac Ninh, applicable to students from the 13th course of the full-time concentrated program. In addition to granting scholarships worth 100% of tuition fees and 50% of tuition fees to students admitted to the school with high scores, Dai Nam University also supports soft skills training for teachers, students and parents of the commune. Implementing that policy, Dai Nam University recently opened a soft skills training course for hundreds of preschool, primary and secondary school teachers of Dong Tien commune. The training course aims to contribute to changing awareness, thinking and creating energy for teachers before the new school year.

Attending the Opening Ceremony, on behalf of Dai Nam University, there was the presence of Dr. Luong Cao Dong - Principal, lecturers of the Soft Skills Department of the school; on the guest side, there was Associate Professor, Dr. Nguyen Van Nha - former General Secretary of the National Talent Development Project, Director of the Southern Institute of Applied Science Research; on the side of Dong Tien commune, there were representatives of the People's Committee, the "Big Dream" Learning Promotion Association and hundreds of preschool, primary and secondary school teachers.

Speaking at the ceremony, Dr. Luong Cao Dong said: Soft skills are not only necessary in life but also an extremely important criterion in assessing capacity and recruitment today. Therefore, soft skills have become an indispensable subject in the educational environment from kindergarten to university.

In the era of the 4.0 industrial revolution, training soft skills needs to be very systematic and form a habit from a young age…”, said Dr. Luong Cao Dong.

The soft skills training course of Dai Nam University gathered hundreds of teachers from 3 levels of education in Dong Tien commune to participate.

According to Dr. Luong Cao Dong, Dai Nam University is the first university in the North to introduce Soft Skills into its regular training program, making it a compulsory subject for all students. Final year students of the Faculty of Business Administration of Dai Nam University, instead of defending their graduation thesis in the classroom, will participate in building and managing soft skills training projects for high school students. In addition, the Soft Skills Department of the university also regularly participates in teaching soft skills training courses at various facilities in various forms.

Participating in the soft skills training course of Dai Nam University, teachers from 3 levels of education in Dong Tien commune experienced basic and in-depth training contents of soft skills, such as: What are soft skills?; the importance of soft skills; how to learn soft skills?; presentation skills; how to apply knowledge to handle real-life situations in teaching...

In particular, the training course also had the participation of Associate Professor, Dr. Nguyen Van Nha with the topic "change to be worthy of being a teacher in the 4.0 revolution". According to Associate Professor Dr. Nguyen Van Nha, in addition to knowledge from books, teachers must teach their students how to manage emotions and survival philosophy. Each teacher must change, constantly learn to improve knowledge, skills and experience if they want to succeed in the teaching profession.
