What do students get from this scholarship program?
At the exchange program "Taiwan Government Scholarship for International Specialization Program - New Model", Ms. Nguyen Thi Hoai Tam - Director of the International Institute affirmed that this is a rare opportunity, not every student has it, opening the door to long-term study and work in Taiwan (China).
Students complete 3 years of undergraduate training in Information Technology at Dai Nam University. From the 4th year, students go to Taiwan (China) to study.
The Taiwanese government covers the entire tuition fee of NT$100,000/year (about VND80 million) and the company subsidizes living expenses of NT$10,000/month (about VND8 million) .
In the first year in Taiwan, students will study 16-22 credits of specialized courses and learn Chinese. At the end of this school year, students will take the B1 Chinese certificate exam.
Students have the opportunity to work part-time from the first year of studying in Taiwan with an average income of 12-24 million VND/month.
In the second year, students study elective courses; do specialized internships at businesses (40 hours/week), with a minimum salary of 27,400 NTD/month (about 22 million).
After completing 5 years of study, students will receive 2 university degrees from Dai Nam University and Taiwan University.
Students proactively ask questions about scholarship programs and opportunities to study and work in Taiwan (China).
After graduation, students work for Taiwanese enterprises for a minimum of 02 years, and are assigned jobs that match their professional qualifications with a basic salary of 27,400 NTD/month (about 22 million) excluding bonuses and other social benefits.
After 2 years, students have the opportunity to stay in Taiwan and work long-term.
The leadership of Dai Nam University went to Taiwan (China) to "witness" the learning and working environment of students.
Conditions to "secure" scholarship?
Scholarship program participants: Information Technology students K14, K15 who have completed the full course program or students from previous courses who have graduated.
Grade point average (GPA) of 7.0 or higher.
Regarding foreign language requirements: Students must have a TOCFL A2 Chinese proficiency certificate or higher or a TOEIC 550 English certificate or equivalent or higher.
In case of not meeting the foreign language requirement, the International Training Institute of Dai Nam University will organize training, with a cost of 10,000 NTD (about 8 million VND) provided by the Taiwanese Government.
Registration period: from June – October 2024.
Admission quota: 60 quotas.
Admission time: February 2025.
