Dai Nam University successfully organized Festival Japan 2022: Impressive final night of Miss&Mr Sakura

Festival Japan 2022 with the scope of 07 high schools in Trieu Son district was organized on a large scale, magnificently, professionally, attracting the attention and participation of thousands of students and parents in the district. The event aims to celebrate the 50th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations between Vietnam and Japan (1973-2023); create opportunities for high school students to exchange and learn about the country, culture, cuisine and people of Japan; provide information on career counseling, information on studying abroad, traveling and working in Japan.

One of the impressive highlights of Festival Japan 2022 is the final night of the "Miss & Mr Sakura" contest taking place on the evening of May 21.

The final night took place at Trieu Son 1 High School stage, attracting more than 3,500 people to watch, cheer and encourage the contestants. The final round of the Miss & Mr Sakura 2022 contest was a great success with the participation of 07 talented male and female couples from high schools and 02 couples from the Faculty of Japanese Language and Culture and the Faculty of Finance - Banking of Dai Nam University.

MSc. Hua Ngoc Tan - Deputy Head of the Department of Japanese Language and Culture - Head of the Organizing Committee delivered the opening speech of the Competition.

Speaking at the opening ceremony of the contest, MSc. Hua Ngoc Tan - Deputy Head of the Faculty of Japanese Language and Culture, Dai Nam University, Head of the Organizing Committee emphasized: "This is a healthy and useful playground for students to exchange, connect, learn about Japanese culture, and practice skills. This is also one of the events marking a turning point in the student movement of the Faculty of Japanese Language and Culture, towards the mission of comprehensive education."

Mr. Nguyen Quoc Ngan - Principal of Trieu Son 1 High School, Deputy Head of the Organizing Committee, co-organizer of the event shared: “This is the first time that high schools in Trieu Son district have organized such a large-scale event. All preparations were very elaborate, professional, and methodical. Especially in a short time, the Organizing Committee has organized a series of attractive and valuable experiential activities for students…”

After three rounds, the 5 best contestants and 1 couple with the highest votes via the program's fanpage will be able to continue in the behavioral round.

With talent, physical beauty, intelligence, knowledge, skills and self-accumulation during the learning process, the contestants completed their exams well and answered the judges' questions calmly and intelligently.

In the final result, the contestant pair with candidate number 09 Nguyen Thanh Duc - Nguyen Nhu Quynh from the Faculty of Finance and Banking - Dai Nam University excelled over the other contestant pairs in the final night to win the First Prize and the Most Talented Contestant Prize. The Second Prize was awarded to the contestant pair with candidate number 04 Trinh Thi Mai - Tran Huu Vinh from Trieu Son 3 High School; The Third Prize was awarded to the contestant pair with candidate number 07 Le Thi Bao Nguyen - Le Thanh Trung Hieu from Trieu Son 5 High School.

The most favorite contestant award through the voting system on the Fanpage of the Faculty of Japanese Language and Culture was given to the contestant pair SBD 07 Le Thi Bao Nguyen - Le Thanh Trung Hieu; The most beautiful Japanese traditional costume performance award was given to the contestant pair SBD 01 Phung Van Khuong - Nguyen Thi Thom from the Faculty of Japanese Language and Culture DNU; The most beautiful Vietnamese traditional costume performance award was given to the contestant pair SBD 02 Le Doan Thanh Tam - Tran Dinh Trung. The final night has ended, the echoes of the competition have spread widely to all teachers and students in Trieu Son district.

Mr. Bui Xuan Luan, Head of the Jury, shared, “I am really impressed with the preparation of the contestants.
