This morning (November 20), Dai Nam University signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) with Tunku Abdul Rahman University (TARC) - Malaysia. The MOU addresses cooperation in training in the field of Accounting, specifically the exchange of professors, lecturers, researchers and students between the two universities.

The signing ceremony aims to share common interests between the two sides, creating the best conditions for students of the two schools to exchange based on high standards in the field of Accounting.

Attending the signing ceremony, on behalf of Dai Nam University, there were Dr. Luong Cao Dong - Principal; MSc. Nguyen Viet Anh - Vice Principal. On behalf of TARC University, there were Prof. Dr. Lee Sze - Principal; Assoc. Prof. Say Sok Kwan - Vice Principal, in charge of Administration and Internationalization; Assoc. Prof. Wong Hwa Kiong, Head of the Faculty of Accounting, Finance and Business.
At the signing ceremony, Dai Nam University and TARC University shared about their history of formation and development; teaching and learning roadmap; current training majors of both sides. The two schools discussed and proposed cooperation plans and committed to signing the MOU on activities according to the actual needs of both sides. These were exchanging information about training programs, exchanging students, combining research and building training programs for the Accounting major.

Speaking at the signing ceremony, Dr. Luong Cao Dong - President of Dai Nam University expressed his hope that TARC University will create the best conditions for Dai Nam students to participate in exchange semesters, acquire achievements and apply the knowledge they have learned to their future work. In addition, Dr. Luong Cao Dong also hopes that through this cooperation program, lecturers and students of Dai Nam University will have the opportunity to learn more about other majors of TARC University as well as explore the culture and people of Malaysia.
“ I believe that today’s meeting and MOU signing is a solid foundation for cooperation and development of the relationship between the two sides. Accounting is one of the key training majors of Dai Nam University. The demand for high-quality accounting human resources is very large and in short supply.”, Dr. Luong Cao Dong emphasized.

The cooperation agreement opens up many opportunities to develop relationships between Dai Nam University and TARC University.
Sharing at the signing ceremony, Prof. Dr. Lee Sze - Principal wishes to cooperate in the form of 2+2 with students majoring in Accounting of Dai Nam University. Accordingly, Accounting students of Dai Nam University can study 2 years at Dai Nam and then study 2 more years at TARC University and receive two degrees from the two schools. In addition, students can continue to study at a higher level at TARC University...
TARC University is one of the highly ranked universities in Asia. The Accounting major at the university is currently being promoted in terms of both training quality and program improvement to suit the needs of society.

The cooperation between the two schools once again affirms the trend of integration, openness, and promotes the position of Dai Nam University in the national and world education.
