Dai Nam University signed a training cooperation agreement with Xanh-Pon General Hospital

With the signed training cooperation agreement, students of Medicine and Nursing at Dai Nam University will have clinical practice and experience professional and modern medical examination and treatment at Xanh-Pon General Hospital (Hanoi).

Attending the signing ceremony, on behalf of Dai Nam University, there were: Dr. Le Thi Thanh Huong - Vice Principal of the University; Associate Professor, Dr., Senior Lecturer Hoang Duc Hanh - Head of the Faculty of Medicine; Dr. Can Thi Cuc - Deputy Head of the Faculty of Medicine; MSc. Le Van Duy - Head of the Faculty of Nursing, and lecturers of the Faculty of Medicine.

On the side of Xanh-Pon General Hospital, there were Dr. Nguyen Duc Long - Party Secretary, Director of the Hospital; Associate Professor, Dr. Tran Ngoc Son - Deputy Director of the Hospital.

Speaking at the signing ceremony, Dr. Le Thi Thanh Huong said: “Enhancing the maximum experience between studying and working at enterprises is one of the important contents in the strategy of building a learning ecosystem for students of Dai Nam University. Especially with specific training majors such as Medicine, Nursing, Pharmacy, the University focuses on training closely following practice, enhancing experience, meeting the needs of medical facilities so that 100% of graduates can immediately start working, without wasting time on retraining…”

Accordingly, Dai Nam University has invested heavily in facilities serving the training of the Health sector, such as: a system of advanced and modern practice rooms, laboratories and a pre-clinical center to meet the training needs of students in Basic Science, Basic Medicine and Pre-clinical subjects; a Pharmacy practice center with the most modern equipment system today; a modern skillslab system, helping students master 55 basic nursing skills right from when they are still in school...

Dr. Le Thi Thanh Huong believes that the training cooperation between Dai Nam University and Xanh-Pon General Hospital will bring a professional internship environment for medical and nursing students of Dai Nam University, contributing to improving the training quality of the University.

Dr. Nguyen Duc Long believes in the cooperation between Dai Nam University and Xanh-Pon General Hospital.

Sharing at the signing ceremony, Dr. Nguyen Duc Long said: Xanh-Pon Hospital emphasizes training strategy, in which the orientation is to develop the hospital-school model. Accordingly, the Hospital is willing to cooperate and create all conditions for Dai Nam University students in practice and training.

“The cooperation between Saint Paul General Hospital and Dai Nam University brings good opportunities for both sides. I hope that in the future, in addition to training cooperation, the Hospital and the University will have a combination in scientific research to better perform the task of training and health care”, said Dr. Nguyen Duc Long.

Associate Professor, Dr., Associate Professor Hoang Duc Hanh expressed: "With the training orientation towards application, constantly expanding cooperation with prestigious hospitals, Dai Nam University aims to become a quality training facility for general practitioners, contributing to improving the quality of human resources for health care for Hanoi in particular and the whole country in general".

Also at the ceremony, MSc. Le Van Duy said he was very moved to learn that the university’s Nursing graduates had just joined the Xanh-Pon General Hospital. “I hope that today’s signing ceremony will open up many internship, practice and work opportunities for students of the Health sector of Dai Nam University ,” he said.

The cooperation between Dai Nam University and Saint Paul Hospital will open up many learning and practice opportunities for students majoring in Health.
