Dai Nam University receives funding from the Korean Cultural Project and launches the Samullori Art Club

On April 19, Dai Nam University held a ceremony to receive funding for the Korean Cultural Project from the Korean Cultural Center (CCC) under the Korean Embassy in Vietnam and launched the Samullori art club of the Faculty of Korean Language and Culture.
Attending the event, on behalf of Dai Nam University, there were Dr. Luong Cao Dong - Principal, Ms. Cao Thi Hoa - Vice Principal, along with leaders, staff, lecturers and student representatives of the Korean Language and Culture Department.
On the side of TTVHHQ, there was the presence of Mr. Park Sang Mo - Head of Events, TTVHHQ Project; Ms. Park Young Sook - Korean traditional art expert.
On the guest side, the program had the participation of Dr. Pham Hung Viet - former Director of the Institute of Lexicography and Encyclopedia of Vietnam, Dr. Nguyen Thuy Khanh - former Head of Lexicography Department, Institute of Linguistics, Dr. Nguyen Thi Thanh Nga - Institute of Lexicography and Encyclopedia of Vietnam.
On the side of enterprises cooperating in training with the faculty, there are Mr. Steve Bui - Chairman of Delta E&C Group, Ms. Le Minh Hoa - Chairman of the Association of Women Entrepreneurs of Small and Medium Enterprises of Vietnam, Mr. Le Hong Quan - Vice Chairman of the Vietnam and International Entrepreneurs Club (VIENC), Mr. Dinh Van Tuan - Director of the Yoshine Melody Institute of Educational Sciences...
Dr. Luong Cao Dong - Principal spoke at the ceremony to receive funding for the Korean Cultural Project and launch the Samullori Art Club.
Speaking at the ceremony, Dr. Luong Cao Dong - Principal of Dai Nam University emphasized: "Culture is the fastest bridge to understanding and success in students' future careers... "
Realizing the importance of culture, in addition to training, scientific research, and scientific technology transfer, Dai Nam University pays special attention to foreign language training - a means for students to access diverse cultures in the world, soft skills and cultural experience programs according to the specific training profession.
“The Samullori Art Club and the Samullori Traditional Musical Instrument Set donated by the Center for Korean Culture and Arts will be a healthy cultural playground for students of the Korean Language and Culture Department at Dai Nam University to freely explore and experience Korean culture for their future studies and work…” Dr. Luong Cao Dong shared.
TTVHHQ presented a set of traditional musical instruments to teachers and students of the Department of Korean Language and Culture, DNU.
It is known that the Center for Cultural Affairs has funded and supported culture and textbooks for 13 schools, including universities, primary schools, and secondary schools. In 2022, Dai Nam University will be the first school to receive funding from the Center.
The Samullori Art Club of the Korean Language and Culture Department officially launched.
"Following the donation of musical instruments, the Center for Cultural Heritage will support students in playing and practicing traditional Korean cultural arts as well as other cultural projects..." said Mr. Park Sang Mo - Head of Events, Center for Cultural Heritage Project.
Delegates, teachers, students of Dai Nam University and members of Samulnori Art Club took souvenir photos at the ceremony.
2022 marks the 30th anniversary of the establishment of Vietnam-Korea diplomatic relations. The Korean Cultural Project Funding Ceremony is one of many activities to celebrate this special relationship.
