Dai Nam University promotes cooperation in research and application of artificial intelligence teaching at the Faculty of Information Technology

Recently, the Faculty of Information Technology of Dai Nam University organized a seminar with the theme “Artificial Intelligence and Applications” with the participation of leading scientists in the field of Information Technology from prestigious research and training institutions. Through the seminar, the faculty of Information Technology had the opportunity to access in-depth knowledge of artificial intelligence (AI), high practical application, thereby improving the quality of lectures so that students can update their knowledge and stay close to reality throughout the learning process.

Artificial Intelligence (AI) is an inevitable trend in the field of information technology, currently being researched for wide application in all areas serving human life. Recognizing the importance of AI, the Faculty of Information Technology of Dai Nam University is actively researching, applying and teaching students to ensure output so that graduates can find jobs immediately. The scientific conference "Artificial Intelligence and Applications" with the participation of prestigious scientists is one of the activities to realize that goal.

Scientists and lecturers from the Faculty of Information Technology - Dai Nam University attended the workshop.

At the conference, scientists presented scientific reports with a high level of academic expertise in the fields of artificial intelligence, computer science and high applicability in other scientific fields such as natural disaster research, agricultural development, etc. The presented artificial intelligence models have the ability to be effectively applied in practice. The results of the studies have improved the optimal efficiency, accuracy and processing speed, showing that the team of researchers at the school has the ability to develop advanced artificial intelligence technologies, ready to be applied in high academic fields.

The research presented at the conference all have the potential for effective application in practice.

At the workshop, Dr. Tran Dang Cong - Head of Information Technology Department of Dai Nam University brought the research topic "Balance between exploitation and exploration in optimization problems" . This is an in-depth research topic, bringing high value to the optimization of the balance between exploitation and exploration.

Also at the workshop, the topic "Application of Artificial Intelligence in the study of earthquakes and tsunamis in Vietnam" by Dr. Pham The Truyen - Institute of Geophysics under the Vietnam Academy of Science and Technology was assessed by scientists as feasible to solve the problem of applying artificial intelligence in the study of earthquakes and tsunamis in Vietnam.

Dr. Tran Dang Cong emphasized the practical significance of the workshop on the application of artificial intelligence.

Speaking at the workshop, Dr. Tran Dang Cong emphasized: "This is a workshop of practical significance, the topics were researched by scientists in a methodical, in-depth manner, closely following reality, and highly applicable."

Dr. Pham The Truyen commented that the conference had high academic value and profound practical significance.

On the side of the Vietnam Academy of Science and Technology, Dr. Pham The Truyen highly appreciated both the professional work and the organization of the conference: "The Faculty of Information Technology of Dai Nam University has been successful in organizing an in-depth scientific conference, attracting many scientists from Institutes and Universities to participate and contribute many topics of high professional and practical value" .

Participating in the workshop, researchers had meaningful scientific exchanges and cooperation. The participants of the workshop committed to research cooperation between the fields of artificial intelligence in specific fields such as Earthquakes, Tsunamis; Marine Physics and Geophysics; Data Processing in Earth Sciences.
