Conference to study, disseminate and implement the "Resolution of the 4th Conference of the 12th Party Central Committee" and "Directive 05-CT/TW of the Central Committee"

Implementing Plan No. 26-KH/TU, dated December 5, 2016 of the Hanoi Party Committee and Plan No. 32-KH/DUK, dated December 12, 2016 of the Party Committee of the Block on Studying, grasping and implementing the Resolution of the 4th Central Committee Conference (term XII), on the morning of March 31, 2017, the Party Cell of Dai Nam University organized a Conference to Study and grasp the Resolution of the 4th Central Committee Conference, term XII, Directive 05 and summarize the Party building work in 2016.
With the assessment of the current situation of Party building work in the past time, there are still many limitations and shortcomings that have reduced the leadership role of the Party, hurt the sentiment and undermined the people's trust in the Party, and are a direct threat to the survival of the Party and the regime. Many manifestations of degradation in political ideology, morality, lifestyle, "self-evolution", "self-transformation" are clearly evident such as fading revolutionary ideals; deviating from the Party's principles and goals; ambition for power, failure to comply with the organization's assignment; refuting socialist democracy; inciting discontent; providing false information on the Party and State's guidelines; having narrow-minded nationalism and religious extremism;... The 4th Central Conference (12th tenure) unanimously issued a Resolution on strengthening Party building and rectification; preventing and repelling degradation in political ideology, morality, lifestyle, and manifestations of "self-evolution" and "self-transformation" within the Party. This is the first Resolution of the 12th Central Executive Committee on Party building and is also the first key task of the 12th Party Congress. The Resolution has been widely received, agreed upon, responded to by cadres, party members and people, and they have placed high expectations on the results of the Resolution's implementation with the goal of enhancing the Party's strength and strengthening the people's trust in the Party's leadership.

At the Conference, the School Party Cell listened to Comrade Luong Cao Dong - Deputy Secretary of the Party Cell convey the basic contents and viewpoints of Resolution No. 04-NQ/TW on strengthening Party building and rectification; preventing and repelling ideological, political, moral, and lifestyle degradation, manifestations of "self-evolution" and "self-transformation" within the Party; especially focusing on 27 manifestations of ideological, moral, and lifestyle degradation and "self-evolution" and "self-transformation"; at the same time, he deeply analyzed the core issues of Ho Chi Minh's ideology, morality and style expressed in Directive 05 of the Politburo (term XII) to guide the School's cadres and civil servants to apply them in practical work.
Speaking at the Conference, Comrade Luong Cao Dong requested each Party member in the School Party Cell to grasp the basic content, guiding viewpoints, and work that needs to be deployed in the organization and implementation; create high unity in awareness and action; promote responsibility, be exemplary, voluntarily implement and effectively direct the implementation of the contents of the Resolution in each individual's working position; at the same time, contribute significantly to bringing the Resolution of the 12th Party Congress into life, successfully completing the training tasks of the school in the coming time.
Cadres and party members who participate in studying, researching and implementing the Resolution must write personal reports. The reports must demonstrate personal awareness through studying, researching and implementing the Resolution; state personal responsibilities; and make recommendations and propose measures to contribute to the effective implementation of the Resolution in the unit.
The Conference ended with confidence in successfully implementing the goals and tasks of the Resolution, so that our Party can be truly steadfast in politics and ideology, highly unified in will and action, and pure in morality and lifestyle.
At the same time, the Board of Directors also requested that the Party Committees and Party cells under the Party Committee continue to study, learn, and disseminate to each cadre and Party member in the Party Committee and Party cell the contents of the Resolutions as well as take specific actions to implement the Resolutions in a suitable and creative manner according to the actual conditions of the unit, contributing to building the Party Committee of Dai Nam University to be increasingly clean and strong.
