Dai Nam University organizes video creation contest “DNU on Tiktok”

With the aim of creating a healthy and useful playground and encouraging students to participate in extracurricular activities, develop personal talents; convey meaningful messages to students on the Tiktok platform during online learning time, Dai Nam University organizes the DNU on Tiktok video creation contest.

Contestants can cover any trend on tiktok or create their own content. Contestants choose 1 of the following suggested topics to present their video:

+ #DNUCheck: Clip about school facilities, school activities, information about Dai Nam University and student life at Dai Nam University.

+ #DNUTalent: clips showing talents in singing, playing instruments, acting, magic, catwalking, playing sports, martial arts, etc. Or clips showing dances, self-created or covered choreography, etc.

+ #DNULifestory: clips showing stories about life, daily life, reviews of an event/event/character, travel, study, life during the epidemic and other trending content. Or clips showing fashion styles, outfit combinations, streetwear, catwalk, cosplay, transformation,...

Note:

The clip content MUST contain one of Dai Nam University's brand identities, such as: Student ID card; traditional orange shirt; school logo; Slogan "Study to change" or song "Study to change life".

The video must convey content, have good ideas, be creative, have aesthetics, attract a large number of viewers, encourage tiktok trends, candidates can add text or create more messages about Dai Nam University.

Contestants

-Staff, lecturers, students of Dai Nam University (Can compete in groups, units, classes, clubs, faculties)

Time of organization

• Time to send clips from November 2nd to November 10th
• Voting period from November 12 to November 18

Technical requirements for video entries

• Duration: Minimum 15s and maximum 60s;
• HD videos must be 720p or higher, with a 9x16 aspect ratio. Videos must be created on the TikTok platform. It is recommended to use audio clips available on TikTok to ensure copyright;
• The video uses visual and sound effects;
• Videos can be recorded with phones, cameras, camcorders, flycams, etc. If recorded with phones, the screen must be recorded vertically.
• Contest videos must not contain political or religious elements and must comply with Vietnamese customs and laws.

Requirements for contest entries

• Clip content is correct according to the topic registered with the organizer
• Clip does not have the tiktok logo (Recommended to edit the clip with the Capcut app, similar to Tik Tok and does not have the Tik Tok logo).
• Accept entries that are previously recorded Tiktok videos that have not been submitted to any other contest.
• Candidates will be responsible in case the Organizing Committee discovers any violations of regulations or fraud in the voting method.
• The Organizing Committee is not responsible in case a contestant's entry is deleted by Tik Tok due to violating community standards.
• Dai Nam University is allowed to use the contest videos for promotional purposes and brand development without asking for permission or paying any fees.
• The decision of the Organizing Committee is final.

How to participate

• Step 1: Edit video according to BTC's requirements
• Step 2: Send the video to the Organizing Committee at the address:

+ The caption for the video must be short (no more than 30 words), suitable for the video content with the general #hashtag: #DNUonTiktok and the selected topic hashtag #DNUCheck; #DNUTalent or #DNULifestory (In the application form)

• Step 3: The Organizing Committee will post the video on Dai Nam University's TikTok account. Candidates call on friends to interact with their videos.

The scoring

• Exam score = (1) 50% score by the Board of Judges + (2) 50% score from interaction on tiktok channel

1. The judges' scores are based on the following criteria:

• Idea: 50%
• Content: 40%
• Video quality: 10%
• Bonus points for videos with good visual effects.

1. Voting points are calculated:

• 1 heart = 1 point (On tiktok platform)
• 1 share = 1 point (On tiktok platform)
• According to the scoring time mentioned above, the Organizing Committee will count the total number of likes and shares of the participants. Then, convert them into points and arrange them in order from highest to lowest.
