Dai Nam University opens the "Dai Nam Cup 2017" Football Tournament

On March 10, 2017, at Dai Nam University Football Field, Phu Lam Campus - Ha Dong, the Opening Ceremony of the 5th "Dai Nam Cup 2017" Football Tournament took place. This is an annual activity of the University to strengthen the solidarity and unity between students of the faculties and expand relations with other schools; at the same time, promote the physical education and sports movement, improve health, and train physical strength for students, contributing to the successful completion of learning tasks in 2017.
On March 10, 2017, at Dai Nam University Football Field, Phu Lam Campus - Ha Dong, the Opening Ceremony of the 5th "Dai Nam Cup 2017" Football Tournament took place. This is an annual activity of the University to strengthen the solidarity and unity between students of the faculties and expand relations with other schools; at the same time, promote the physical education and sports movement, improve health, and train physical strength for students, contributing to the successful completion of learning tasks in 2017.
This year's football tournament, the Organizing Committee increased the number of participating teams compared to last year, including full-time and transfer students of the Faculty of Information Technology, Accounting, Architecture, Economic Law, Foreign Languages, Public Relations - Communication, Tourism, Business Administration, Construction, Banking and Finance, Pharmacy, and Transfer Pharmacy of Dai Nam University. This year, with 32 competing teams, divided into 8 groups, playing a round-robin round, calculating points, selecting the top 2 teams to enter the round of 16. Applying the 7-a-side football competition rules prescribed by FIFA.

This year's tournament includes 32 teams from 12 Faculties participating.
This time, the “Dai Nam Cup 2017” football competition will have the following prizes: 1 First Prize worth 5,000,000 VND, Flag, Gold Medal; 1 Second Prize worth 3,000,000 VND, Flag, Silver Medal; 1 Third Prize worth 2,000,000 VND, Flag, Bronze Medal; and 1 Top Scorer Prize worth 1,000,000 VND, Flag.
This year's program is a collaboration of all staff, lecturers, students of specialized faculties, departments, volunteer student teams and art troupes of Dai Nam University. The organizing committee of this year's competition includes Dr. Luong Cao Dong - Vice Principal of the school, Head of the organizing committee; Comrade Pham Hong Duc - Deputy Secretary of the Youth Union, Deputy Head of the committee; Comrade Duong Trong Chau - Head of Student Management Department, Member; Comrade Vu Dang Tuan Anh, Standing Committee Member, Member; and Comrade Le Viet Hoang, Team leader of volunteer student teams, Program organizing committee member.

All staff, lecturers and students in the school enthusiastically responded.
Hopefully in this year's tournament season, Dai Nam University, the school's Board of Directors and students will have a useful, positive and meaningful tournament season and the Faculties will be determined to improve the team's performance in 2017.
