PURPOSE, REQUIREMENTS

    1. Purpose
    • Responding to President Ho Chi Minh's call "Every weak citizen means the whole country is weak, every healthy citizen means the whole country is healthy"
    • To create a healthy and useful playground for students; promote self-awareness, gradually form the habit of exercising, improve physical health for students; enhance the resistance of each individual and the whole community, contributing to repelling epidemics.
    • Create a competitive movement among the staff, lecturers and employees of Dai Nam University.
    1. Request
    • The tournament is organized to ensure that it attracts a large number of cadres, lecturers, staff and students to participate, but still ensures requirements for disease prevention during the epidemic season (no large gatherings, encouraging individual running, in residential areas).
    • Create initiative for staff, lecturers, employees and students in terms of time and space when participating in the race.
    • The tournament is designed to ensure reasonable time and intensity of exercise to contribute to forming the habit of regular and continuous physical exercise.
    1. OBJECT, METHOD, TIME, PLACE
    1. Object
    • The athletes participating in the race are:

    + Staff, lecturers and employees of Dai Nam University

    + Students of regular and joint training systems of Dai Nam University

    • Each team consists of: 10 members (5 female athletes, 5 male athletes)
    • Test format: running or walking (Results are generated on the app)

    NOTE:

    • The Organizing Committee encourages faculties to register more teams than the required number.
    • The Organizing Committee allows students who are not part of the faculty's competition team to form their own independent competition team according to the following requirements:

    + Is a student studying at Dai Nam University

    + No common major or course required

    + Email the list of team members to the Organizing Committee before May 29, 2021

    1. How to
    1. Time
    • Deadline for teams to register and submit their list to the Organizing Committee: Before May 29, 2021
    • Deadline for registration via app: before June 1, 2021.
    • Running time: 01/06/2021 – 23:59 on 15/06/2021.
    1. Location
    • Athletes should choose a running/walking location that suits their personal conditions, prioritizing locations in their residential area. Avoid crowded places and strictly follow the Government's regulations on social distancing to prevent disease.
    1. REGULATIONS
    1. Required distance: (Estimated 1,250 steps = 1km)
    • Men 52,500 steps/person/14 days (Average 3,750 steps/person/day - About 3km/day)
    • Female 35,000 steps/person/14 days (Average 2,500 steps/person/day - about 2km/day)
    1. Solution rules:
    • Athletes must reach or exceed the required distance.
    • Track running/walking activities (tracklog) using Strava/Google Fit application. The organizers only take results from Strava/Google Fit linked to the athlete's account and send them to the Vietrace365 system.
    • Valid pace is between 4 minutes/1km - 20 minutes/1km (equivalent to a speed of 3km/h to 15km/h)
    • Manually generated results on Strava/Goolge Fit are not recorded.
    • Results will be cumulative over the duration of the challenge.
    • You can go/run many times a day, with no limit on the time you can go/run during the day.
    1. Manage activities and results
    • Total individual achievements that meet the requirements are counted towards the collective achievements.
    • Apply the rule: “No completion, no prize”, meaning the result will not be recognized if the required distance is not achieved.
    • Activities with abnormalities (Split pace, HR, cadence, calories...) will be eliminated.
    • The Organizing Committee will conduct random or intentional checks on the performance of some athletes participating in the Race. If an athlete is found to have committed fraud, the Organizing Committee has the right to cancel the athlete's results. The Organizing Committee's decision is final.

    Note: During the implementation of epidemic prevention measures, athletes must ensure absolute compliance with the regulations of the Government and local authorities. The Organizing Committee has the right to remove from the Race athletes who violate the above regulations.
