Dai Nam University launched the handbook "Understanding and accompanying GenZ" edited by Ms. Cao Thi Hoa - Vice President of the Board of Directors (chief editor) for staff and lecturers.

In the context of Generation Z - students growing up in a turbulent yet opportunity-filled era - understanding, empathizing with and guiding them has become a core requirement of higher education.

The generation gap between lecturers and students is inevitable. Lecturers of the 6X, 7X, 8X generations have different experiences and values when compared to Gen Z - the generation raised in a digital environment, multitasking and full of aspirations for freedom. If those differences are neither acknowledged nor understood, they will inevitably lead to a disconnect in instruction and orientation. Therefore, the sacred mission of today's teachers is to both impart knowledge and open their hearts to accompany, to connect with sympathy and lead students to become kind, professional and confident individuals to stretch out into the whole world.

From that concern, Dai Nam University has launched the internal handbook "Understanding and accompanying GenZ", edited by Ms. Cao Thi Hoa - Vice President of the University Council.

Ms. Hoa shared: “Understanding Gen Z is the key for every lecturers to fully fulfill their educational mission. This handbook is not just about theory, but a summary of practical experience and the efforts of Dai Nam University in the journey to create a student-centered learning environment. I believe that this practical document will be a comp anion of lecturers on their way to impart knowledge and spread inspiration, inspire creativity, and accompany students on their journey to maturity...”
