Dai Nam University "joins hands" with Yonam Institute of Technology Korea - one of the best technology institutes in Korea sponsored by LG Group

Internationalizing education and training students to become global citizens is the development orientation of Dai Nam University in the period of 2023 - 2030. To realize that development strategy, create a dynamic, modern, cross-border learning environment for students; help students have career opportunities and develop themselves outstandingly after graduation, recently, Dai Nam University signed a comprehensive cooperation agreement with Yonam Institute of Technology - one of the best technology institutes in Korea, sponsored by the prestigious LG Group.

Attending the signing ceremony, on behalf of Dai Nam University, there were: Dr. Le Dac Son - Chairman of the University Council; Associate Professor, Dr. Pham Van Hong - Principal; leaders of Faculties, Departments, and Offices.

On the partner side, there are: Mr. Ahn Seung Kwon - Principal of Yonam Institute of Technology; Mr. Lee Seung Ik - Head of Planning Department of Yonam Institute of Technology; Mr. Kang Min Hwan - Head of Planning Group of Yonam Institute of Technology; Mr. Nam Sung Woo - Professor of Yonam Institute of Technology; Mr. Oh Sang Jin - CEO of Vietnam - Korea IT Outsourcing Center (KVIT).

Speaking at the signing ceremony, Dr. Le Dac Son commented: The relationship between Vietnam and Korea is making great strides in all areas, especially in the fields of economics - trade, labor cooperation and education. This opens up many opportunities for Vietnamese students to study, intern and work in Korea.

Accordingly, the cooperation between Dai Nam University and Yonam Institute of Technology is following the motto of Internationalizing Education of the University. This “handshake” will promote the educational development of both sides as well as strengthen the diplomatic relations between Vietnam and Korea.

Dr. Le Dac Son believes that the cooperation between the two sides will bring practical benefits to lecturers and students.

“The orientation of Dai Nam University is to connect students with the international training and business environment, including Korea. I expect the cooperation between Dai Nam University and Yonam Institute of Technology will create a “pedestal” for international study and work for students. At the same time, I hope that the two sides will cooperate more deeply in searching for and expanding the professions that are the trend of the future…” , said Dr. Le Dac Son.

After discussing related issues, Dai Nam University and Yonam Institute of Technology agreed to cooperate in the following areas: student exchange; exchange of lecturers and managers; organization of conferences and seminars; practical experience programs for students; cooperation in training in fields related to technology and engineering; cooperation in conducting academic research activities, etc.

The signing has contributed to developing the relationship between the two schools to a new level and diversifying international cooperation activities.

Mr. Ahn Seung Kwon said: With its strength in Technology - Engineering, Yonam Institute of Technology has been training thousands of engineers who are high-quality human resources for LG Group as well as other large Korean enterprises.

“The human resource needs of Korean enterprises, especially local enterprises, are seriously lacking. Therefore, we are eager to receive foreign students to study and work in Korea. We will support training in the necessary skills so that students can work in Korean enterprises,” said Mr. Ahn Seung Kwon.
