Dai Nam University is the first institution to train and update professional knowledge in Pharmacy.

Approved by the Hanoi Department of Health in December 2017, Dai Nam University became the first institution in Hanoi qualified to train and update professional knowledge in Pharmacy.

According to Article 28 of the 2016 Pharmacy Law (Law No. 105/2016/QH13), a pharmacist will have his/her Pharmacy practice certificate revoked if he/she does not have a certificate of completion of the Pharmacy training program or update of professional knowledge within 03 years from the date of being granted the Pharmacy Practice Certificate or from the date of having the certificate of completion of the most recent Pharmacy training program or update of professional knowledge.

Dai Nam University is the first institution to train and update professional knowledge in Pharmacy.

Updating professional knowledge in Pharmacy is a training program developed by a training and updating professional knowledge in Pharmacy institution to train and update professional knowledge in Pharmacy for pharmacy practitioners. Upon completion of the training program, pharmacy practitioners will be granted a Certificate of completion of training and updating professional knowledge in Pharmacy.

Therefore, university pharmacists practicing Pharmacy must complete a professional knowledge update course on Pharmacy as a mandatory condition.

Pharmacy practice certificate will be revoked if there is no certificate of completion of training program, updating professional knowledge on pharmacy.

Pursuant to the Law on Pharmacy dated April 6, 2016 and Decree 54/2017/ND-CP of the Government issued on May 8, 2017, pursuant to the Announcement of the Hanoi Department of Health, Dai Nam University is assigned as the training facility, updating professional knowledge on Pharmacy. Dai Nam University officially enrolls students for the first training class to update professional knowledge on Pharmacy in May 2018.

The Department of Health announced Dai Nam University as a training facility, updating professional knowledge about Pharmacy.

Training course, updating professional knowledge about Pharmacy for university pharmacists practicing Pharmacy in retail scope in Hanoi and neighboring provinces.

Details of this training program at Dai Nam University are as follows:

1. Training content and duration

Specialized knowledge: 8 hours

Pharmaceutical Law and Management: 8 hours

Skills and techniques in Pharmacy practice: 8 hours of focused class for 3 days on Saturdays and Sundays

Registration form (according to form)

Notarized copy of Pharmacy Practice Certificate

Photocopy of CNND

03 portrait photos 4cmx6cm taken on a white background, taken within 06 months (full name and date of birth written on the back of each photo)

3. Tuition

Collected upon admission. Specific collection level: 1,500,000 VND/person (One million five hundred thousand VND)

Time to receive documents and start school

4. Time for registration and receiving documents: from April 20, 2018
