Dai Nam University innovates medical training method according to modules

In the context of international integration and the increasing demand for quality medical human resources, Dai Nam University has innovated the method of medical training according to modules. Associate Professor, Dr. Hoang Duc Hanh - Dean of the Faculty of Medicine, Dai Nam University said: “The modular medical training program is an advanced training model applied at many prestigious medical universities in the world. This model focuses on training students in each specialized topic (module), helping students gain thorough professional knowledge, proficient practical skills and sharp critical thinking ability.”

Unlike traditional teaching methods, the modular training model helps students be more proactive in the learning process. Instead of listening to a lot of theory, students can participate in practical activities from an early age.

Doan Thi Hoai - Medical student K18 01 commented: "The course helps me grasp the overall structure of the program, is easy to access, and creates a basic foundation for me to easily learn in the following modules" .

The survey results on November 20, 2024 showed that the majority of new medical students highly appreciated the new training model, believing that this learning method helps them better grasp professional knowledge, develop soft skills and be more confident in communication.
