Dai Nam University enhances lecturer training combined with practical experience at businesses

With the awareness that there are no bad students, only bad teachers; if teachers are good, students will be good, Dai Nam University pays special attention to training, updating professional knowledge, skills and enhancing practical experience for the teaching staff. Accordingly, before each new school year, 100% of the school's lecturers are trained to improve their capacity and qualifications. Lecturers who teach specialized courses are able to experience "business semesters" to update practical knowledge, industry trends... This is also one of the mandatory criteria for evaluating lecturers of Dai Nam University.

To teach in a practical way, teachers must understand and update the rotation of practice.

In order to implement the school's policy, recently, the Faculty of Logistics and Supply Chain Management, the Faculty of Business Administration, and the Faculty of Automotive Engineering Technology organized a practical program for lecturers to teach subjects related to specialized knowledge at Xuan Hoa Vietnam Joint Stock Company (Vinh Phuc).

The practical program has the participation of the Head of Logistics and Supply Chain Management, Head of Automotive Engineering Technology, and teachers of specialized subjects of 03 faculties.

Directly welcoming and organizing business experience activities for the delegation of lecturers of Dai Nam University were Mr. Nguyen Viet Anh - Chairman of the Board of Directors, Ms. Nguyen Thi Quynh - Member of the Board of Directors, Mr. Nguyen Anh Tuan - General Director, Mr. Dang Thanh Quang - Director of Project Department and representatives of the company's officers and employees.

Lecturers from the Faculty of Logistics and Supply Chain Management, Faculty of Business Administration, Faculty of Automotive Engineering Technology, Dai Nam University, and members of the Board of Directors of the Company visited the production and assembly workshop in the company.

Accordingly, the practical program brings a lot of practical and useful knowledge to lecturers, serving well the teaching work associated with practice. Lecturers have an intuitive view of the production line, modern technology, product quality management system according to international quality standards.

In economics, lecturers are provided with groups of knowledge related to market, product and customer development; knowledge related to marketing and product distribution system management; knowledge related to operations management, supply chain management; purchasing management, warehouse management, input and output logistics management in enterprises; Production management according to 5S standards...

For the Engineering industry, the practical trip to the enterprise helps the Faculty develop many ideas, moving towards cooperation in training on 5S, lean 6 sigma. In addition, both sides can also research and design product models and production lines together.

The field trip not only brought very useful knowledge to the teachers of all 3 Faculties but also opened up opportunities to develop strategic cooperation between Dai Nam University and Xuan Hoa Vietnam Joint Stock Company.

Ms. Nguyen Thi Quynh - Member of the Board of Directors highly appreciated the School's attention to students. She also expressed her desire to support the School in vocational skills training for students during their internship period at Xuan Hoa. In particular, students with good achievements and suitable for recruitment needs will be given priority by Xuan Hoa to arrange suitable job positions at the company and its member companies. Every year, Xuan Hoa will sponsor student scientific research activities and student start-up activities annually according to the plan.

She also wishes to send children of Xuan Hoa's staff to study at Dai Nam University with preferential tuition programs.
