Dai Nam University donates supplies to support the Central Hospital for Tropical Diseases in treating Covid-19 patients

With the desire to support materials to help the Central Hospital for Tropical Diseases, Branch 2 (Dong Anh - Hanoi) - one of the hot spots for receiving and treating Covid-19 patients in the North - continue to ensure good medical examination and treatment during the epidemic season, on March 31, Dai Nam University donated 110 electric fans (including 10 industrial electric fans and 100 pedestal fans) to the hospital.
Hundreds of new electric fans have been purchased by Dai Nam University to promptly support the hospital.
Sharing the reason for donating electric fans to the Central Hospital for Tropical Diseases, Ms. Cao Thi Hoa - Vice Principal of Dai Nam University said: “To treat and prevent the spread of the corona virus, it is necessary to minimize the use of air conditioning. The Ministry of Health has directed medical facilities receiving and treating Covid-19 patients to increase ventilation by increasing ventilation, opening main doors and windows, using electric fans or other suitable air conditioning solutions. Meanwhile, most newly built hospitals in recent years use air conditioning cooling systems. On the other hand, the epidemic continues to develop unpredictably, the number of positive cases of Covid-19 is constantly increasing, causing upper-level hospitals to be overloaded with medical supplies, including electric fans. In particular, the weather is turning to summer, patients have to wear masks, doctors and nurses have to wear protective clothing 24/24, which is very hot and stuffy. Therefore, the demand for electric fans is very high…”
Accordingly, Dai Nam University donated 110 standing fans to support hospitals treating Covid-19 patients.
