On March 18, the Office of the Ministry of Education and Training received 200 bottles of hand sanitizer mixed and donated by Dai Nam University.

Dai Nam University Principal Luong Cao Dong said that due to the complicated developments of the Covid-19 epidemic, the Board of Directors of Dai Nam University assigned the Faculty of Pharmacy to prepare a large quantity of hand sanitizer and disinfectant solutions.

Pharmacists working at the Faculty of Pharmacy of the university who participated in the preparation have followed strict procedures and met the basic criteria on hygiene and epidemiology of WHO. Dai Nam University has been and is giving this product to cadres, lecturers, employees and some residential areas and administrative agencies in Hanoi.

Representative of the Ministry of Education and Training Office, Mr. Nguyen Dinh Manh received 200 bottles of hand sanitizer and sent his thanks to Dai Nam University.

According to Mr. Pham Nhu Nghe, Deputy Director of the Department of Higher Education, the timely preparation and donation of hand sanitizer to the community has contributed to demonstrating the school's capacity and social responsibility.

It is known that Dai Nam University will continue to mix hand sanitizer in large quantities to give away for free to people, students and pupils in Hanoi.

To facilitate storage, transportation, cost savings, and reduce plastic waste in the environment, the school uses reusable plastic cans to bottle hand sanitizer. People in need can bring clean bottles to the school facilities for decanting and use.
