About mission: Dai Nam University focuses on human development, training human resources for social needs, scientific research, technological innovation and knowledge transfer, serving the construction and development of the country.
About vision: Dai Nam strives to become the leading applied university in the block of non-public universities in Vietnam with the core of science and technology, having an important impact on the field of science protection, health care and always being a pioneer in the non-public education system in Vietnam.

On the basis of mission, vision and core values as the guiding principle for all actions of Dai Nam University.
Inheriting and promoting the achievements of 10 years of construction and development (2007-2017), the Board of Directors, the School's Board of Management, and the school's staff and lecturers have developed and announced a summary of the development strategy of Dai Nam University for the next 10 years (2017-2027) as follows:
I. Objectives:
1 - Develop Dai Nam University into a multidisciplinary applied university, moving towards establishing specialized units into a number of affiliated or independent schools, institutes, and centers that are closely linked with employers outside the society (both material benefits and labor recruitment).
2 - Building modern facilities to best meet domestic training services.
3 - Build a team of professional and dedicated lecturers and staff to serve the training work. Ensure income for each person according to their contribution to building the school to achieve a fairly good income or higher than society with the corresponding job.
4 - Build a strong financial system, ensure financial security in training activities and build facilities to meet the school's applied training requirements.
5 - Build a creative and open academic environment. Attract excellent students to study at the school with scholarship policies suitable for each training field, with top priority given to Pharmacy, and attract international students (first from Laos) to study at the school.
6 - Adjust and develop training programs in accordance with domestic and international practical requirements. Conduct quality assessment by domestic and international assessment organizations.
II. Development orientation:
1 - Deploy as quickly as possible to build a school complex at the main campus at No. 1 Pho Xom, Phu Lam Ward, Ha Dong District. By 2020 at the latest, build an additional 11-storey building to ensure adequate modern working, learning and practice spaces according to international standards.
2 - Improve the working capacity of the leadership and management apparatus at the school level (Board of Directors and Board of Management), Faculty - Department - Office level).
3 - Develop training focusing on application quality, linking and linking training with employers (banks, hotel groups, tourism companies). Focus on applied research in health training (Pharmacy, Nursing). Prepare facilities and a team of professional lecturers to be qualified to open new training majors in the fields of Health, Medicine, and Entertainment training.
4 - Well manage postgraduate training programs (3 current programs include: Accounting. Finance - Banking; Economic Management). Open new postgraduate programs to meet learners' needs (first of all, Pharmacy).
III. Mission
1 - Reforming the management apparatus: Board of Directors, faculties, and specialized departments.
2 - Improve the quality and responsibility of staff associated with spiritual and material rights and benefits.
3 - Maintain the number of students studying at the school annually at the undergraduate and graduate levels from 6,000 to 8,000 people.
4 - Quickly complete the adjustment of the school complex planning on an area of 8.5 hectares at No. 1, Xom Street - Center of Ha Dong District - Hanoi City. Continue to build modern dormitories and service areas for students.
5 - Build a strong financial system with strict control of the school's internal audit.
6 - Expand training according to learners' needs, strengthen training links according to needs with economic corporations, banks, hotels, hospitals and labor export centers for nursing students...
7 - Develop scientific research, prioritizing the pharmaceutical industry.
8 - Strengthen international cooperation, with immediate priority given to students from the Lao PDR.
9 - Complete quality inspection by domestic independent inspection organization.
