Dai Nam University cooperates with Hanoi City Police to educate new students about law

With the aim of helping new students understand the security and order situation in the city; clearly perceive the harm and consequences of illegal acts; propagate, disseminate, and educate legal knowledge to help raise awareness and sense of law compliance among students, recently, Dai Nam University has coordinated with Hanoi City Police to successfully organize a propaganda, dissemination, and legal education session for new students of K13.

This is one of the important contents in the first week of civic activities of Dai Nam University, and is also an annual joint activity between the University and Hanoi City Police.
In recent years, the number of law violations among students has been increasing, not only in number but also in the nature and severity of the cases. It can be said that never before have school violence, street violence and social evils threatened young people as seriously as they do today.

New students of K13 are equipped with full legal knowledge from the first days of school.
Faced with this situation, Dai Nam University attaches special importance to the dissemination, popularization and education of legal knowledge to students. Not only does it coordinate with the Hanoi City Police to organize sessions to disseminate and educate legal knowledge to new students at the beginning of each course, the University also regularly organizes extracurricular activities to help students learn about the law, thereby raising awareness of law compliance, effective learning and training.
Sharing with us, Mr. Nguyen Viet Anh - Vice Principal of Dai Nam University said: " For many years, Dai Nam University has always closely coordinated with Hanoi City Police (through the Internal Political Security Department) in synchronously implementing solutions to ensure security and order in the area, in which propaganda and dissemination of legal education for students is one of the important solutions. Thanks to that coordination, in the past 12 years, Dai Nam University students have not been involved in social evils (such as drugs, gambling, prostitution, etc.). Dai Nam University students are also always exemplary in complying with traffic laws, fire prevention and safety, absolutely not using firecrackers during holidays; promptly preventing the spread of heresy to students as well as gatherings of hostile forces to attract..."
Participating in the legal education dissemination session, new students of K13 learned about the security and order situation in Hanoi, especially the current situation of school violence, street violence and law violations among students; were informed about the guidelines and viewpoints on resolutely protecting independence, sovereignty and territorial integrity while maintaining a stable environment for national construction; the impacts and influences of social networks on students' study life; some basic contents of the Road Traffic Law and the Law on Handling of Administrative Violations in the Field of Road and Railway Traffic; risks of fire and explosion and ways to prevent and fight fires in public places and places of residence. In addition, information about the crime situation, social evils, legal regulations on network security... and solutions to prevent law violations were also disseminated to new students.
