Dai Nam University continues to conduct general cleaning and disinfection to prevent and combat the Corona epidemic on a large and deep scale.
In the face of the complicated developments of the acute respiratory disease caused by the new strain of Corona virus (nCoV), Dai Nam University has allowed students and trainees of all training programs to be off school until February 16, 2020. During the time students and trainees are off school, the University continues to step up cleaning and disinfecting all learning and working spaces at both campuses.

During the school break, students need to continuously monitor and update information about study schedules, timetables as well as information about the epidemic on the school's official website and fanpage.

To join hands with the whole country to prevent dangerous epidemics, the Disease Prevention Board of Dai Nam University directs all cadres, lecturers, staff and students to strictly follow the recommendations for disease prevention and control of the Ministry of Health.

Ms. Cao Thi Hoa - Vice Principal of the School said: “Prevention is better than cure. Specifically, yesterday, February 7, Dai Nam University continued to implement activities to prevent and combat the Corona epidemic on a school-wide scale. Leaflets and posters on disease prevention and control from the Ministry of Health were posted on bulletin boards and distributed to staff, lecturers, employees, and students throughout the school.

In particular, at the meeting to deploy activities to prevent and combat the acute respiratory disease caused by the Corona virus (nCoV) on February 7, Pharmacist Nguyen Van Hieu - Deputy Head of the Administration Department, after participating in the training course on disease prevention and control of the Hanoi Department of Health, disseminated knowledge about the use of masks, hand sanitizer, cleaning and disinfection methods, notes on eating and drinking and daily activities to help prevent and combat the invasion of the Corona virus... to cadres, lecturers, employees and students in the school.

Also yesterday, the school continued to clean and disinfect all learning and working spaces at both campuses. Accordingly, the entire system of offices for staff, lecturers and employees; the system of lecture halls, libraries, computer rooms, practice rooms; dormitories; canteens; and the school grounds were cleaned and disinfected with chloramine B disinfectant solution.
In addition, the school has provided necessary supplies such as disinfectants, hand soap, body temperature measuring devices as well as arranged medical personnel, support plans, and timely handling of cadres, lecturers, employees and students in need; prepared isolation areas for cases of fever or signs of infection. Cadres, lecturers, employees and staff coming to work at school are encouraged to wear masks and absolutely avoid crowded gatherings.
