Dai Nam University conducts health check-ups at the beginning of the course for nearly 2,000 K14 students

From December 8-10, 2020, Dai Nam University coordinated with Ha Dong General Hospital to organize a health check-up at the beginning of the course for nearly 2,000 new students of K14 at the Great Hall, main campus (No. 1 Pho Xom - Phu Lam - Ha Dong - Hanoi).
The health check-up at the beginning of the course for new students is an annual activity of Dai Nam University.
Implementing Circular No. 10/2016/TT-BGDĐT of the Ministry of Education and Training on health check-ups at the beginning of the course and periodic health check-ups during the study period according to the regulations of educational institutions and Circular No. 14/2013/TT-BYT of the Ministry of Health regulating the application of health check-ups for subjects when entering universities, colleges and vocational high schools, Dai Nam University pays special attention to directing relevant departments to perform well the work of health check-ups at the beginning of the course and periodic health check-ups for students and trainees studying at the school.
New students of K14 enthusiastically participated in the health check-up at the beginning of the course.

Based on the actual health of the students, the school will develop a study plan, organize appropriate cultural, artistic and sports activities. Cooperating with prestigious hospitals to carry out the examination is also an opportunity for the school's medical staff to access the reality of medical examination and treatment, exchange and learn about expertise and profession, thereby gaining more experience in applying it to the initial first aid process and monitoring the health status of students during their time studying at the school…”
Highly qualified and experienced doctors from Ha Dong General Hospital directly examine and provide health consultation to new students of K14.
This year, the general health check-up for new students of K14 was carried out for 3 consecutive days, divided into small groups, mobilizing volunteer students to participate in guiding and coordinating to ensure the examination was carried out smoothly, following the correct procedure, quickly, and without affecting the study.
Health check-ups at the beginning of the course and periodically during the time studying at school help students proactively grasp their health status, thereby having a scientific study, diet, rest and exercise regimen.
Accordingly, all new students of K14 will be directly examined and provided health consultation by highly qualified and experienced doctors of Ha Dong General Hospital. Examination contents include: Height and weight check, blood pressure, eye examination, maxillofacial examination, ear, nose and throat examination, internal examination, dermatology examination, obstetrics and gynecology examination (for female students)...
