Dai Nam University awards Talent Encouragement scholarships to new students of K17

On January 19, Dai Nam University solemnly held a Scholarship Award Ceremony for new students of K17 with high entrance scores.

In order to encourage and accompany new students; aiming to train a generation of elite students, good at knowledge and solid in skills, in 2017, the Chairman of the Board of Dai Nam University signed a Decision to grant Talent Encouragement scholarships to full-time university students with high entrance scores that satisfy the University's scholarship criteria.

After 6 years of implementation, Dai Nam University has awarded over 30 billion VND in Talent Encouragement scholarships to students with high entrance scores. In the 2023-2024 school year, the University will continue to allocate 50 billion VND to the Talent Encouragement scholarship fund.

At the end of the 2023 enrollment season, Dai Nam University has selected outstanding candidates to award the Talent Encouragement Scholarship, including the following levels: 100%, 50%, 30% tuition scholarship for semester I, school year 2023 - 2024.

Speaking at the ceremony, Associate Professor Dr. Pham Van Hong - President of Dai Nam University emphasized: Awarding the Talent Encouragement Scholarship is one of the key policies of the University to create opportunities for excellent students and students with difficult circumstances to study at university; encourage and motivate the spirit of learning and training of new students; aiming to train generations of elite students, good at knowledge and solid in skills.

The Talent Encouragement Scholarship is a very humane policy of the School and is a great motivation for Dai Nam students.

Representing the new students receiving scholarships, Hoang Thi Thanh Thu - a student of class TTĐPT 17.03 expressed her joy and emotion when receiving the scholarship from the School. Thanh Thu affirmed that this is not only a great financial support but also a source of encouragement and recognition for the efforts of the new students during the difficult process of studying and taking exams. In particular, the Scholarship for Talent is one of the policies that demonstrate the humanity and all for the students of the School.

“With my score, I could have entered a number of public schools that offer training in the field of Communications. However, I still decided to choose Dai Nam because of its good facilities, many experiential activities, practice, and reality at businesses. The teachers are dedicated and enthusiastic, not only teaching knowledge but also sharing with us many life lessons. After 1 semester at the school, I feel that my choice was completely correct. On behalf of the new students of K17, I promise to continue to try my best to study and strive to achieve my goals, achieve higher results and achievements, and contribute to the development of the school as well as society.”

Mr. Pham Van Hong - Principal awarded scholarships worth 100% of tuition fees for the first semester of the 2023-2024 school year to students.

Ms. Le Thi Thanh Huong - Vice Principal awarded scholarships worth 50% of tuition fees for the first semester of the 2023-2024 school year to students.

Ms. Pham Thi Lien - Vice Principal awarded scholarships worth 30% of tuition fees for the first semester of the 2023-2024 school year to students.

Hopefully, with the support of the Talent Encouragement Scholarship and other student support policies of the School, new students of K17 will continue to promote the spirit of learning, training, and striving to become excellent students; contributing to building a rich and lasting homeland and country.
