On the evening of August 25, 2019, at the 2018-2019 school year Honor Ceremony of the People's Committee, Dong Tien Commune Education Promotion Association (Yen Phong - Bac Ninh), Ms. Cao Thi Hoa - Vice Principal of Dai Nam University awarded a Talent Promotion scholarship worth 100% of the first semester tuition fee, 2019-2020 school year to new student Nguyen Thi Thu - K13 Nursing with an admission score of 26 points.

Ms. Cao Thi Hoa, representing Dai Nam University, presented the Talent Encouragement scholarship to new student Nguyen Thi Thu.

In order to encourage the learning movement and contribute to the education of the homeland, on May 28, Dr. Le Dac Son - Chairman of the Board of Directors of Dai Nam University signed the Decision to grant the Talent Encouragement Scholarship to students of Dong Tien commune - Yen Phong - Bac Ninh, applicable to students from the 13th course of the full-time system.

Accordingly, Dai Nam University will grant 100% tuition scholarships and 50% tuition scholarships to students admitted to the school with high scores. The total scholarship for students of Dong Tien commune in the 2019-2020 school year is up to 500 million VND. This scholarship level will be adjusted over the school years depending on the admission policy of the Ministry of Education and Training and Dai Nam University.

Pursuant to Decision No. 81201 dated August 12, 2019 on recognizing successful candidates for admission and establishment of regular university classes in 2019; Pursuant to Decision No. 52801/QD-DN dated May 28, 2019 of the Chairman of the Board of Directors; Pursuant to the minutes summarizing the results of the entrance exam scores of students of the 13th course in the 2019-2020 school year, on August 23, 2019, Dr. Luong Cao Dong - President of Dai Nam University officially approved the Decision to grant a 100% tuition scholarship for the first semester for student Nguyen Thi Thu, hometown O Cach village - Dong Tien - Yen Phong - Bac Ninh with an admission score of 26 points and a national high school exam score of 18.95 points.

Sharing with us about the decision to grant a scholarship worth 500 million VND/school year to students of Dong Tien commune, Ms. Cao Thi Hoa - Vice Principal said: "We follow the path of Education to contribute our hearts and virtues to the common and long-term development of the country. And when people are successful, the first thing they think about is their relatives and then their homeland. By bringing this scholarship fund back to our homeland, we hope to contribute a part to our homeland so that children who do not have the conditions will be given the opportunity to study as they wish..."

As the first student to receive the Talent Encouragement Scholarship from Dai Nan University, new student Nguyen Thi Thu could not hide her emotion and pride: "I will try my best to study well to be worthy of the trust and expectations of my family and teachers and continue to receive the school's Talent Encouragement Scholarship in the following semesters..."

And perhaps what moved and appreciated us the most at the Honoring Ceremony was the heart of the successful children who returned from abroad and wanted to contribute to their family, clan and homeland. By establishing the Big Dream Scholarship Fund, the outstanding children of Dong Tien such as Dr. Le Dac Son, Ms. Cao Thi Hoa, Mr. Cao Van Ha... together gave more motivation to the descendants of the clan, relatives, and children of their homeland to dare to "dream big" to escape poverty, enrich themselves and their homeland.

Not only contributing to bringing better learning conditions for students of Dong Tien commune, the Talent Encouragement Scholarship of Dai Nam University also carries the dream and aspiration of a learning society in accordance with the school's slogan "Learning to change".

Also at the Ceremony, Dai Nam University was honored to receive the "Golden Board of Honor" issued by the People's Committee and the Big Dreams Education Promotion Association of Dong Tien Commune, recognizing the dedication and contributions of Dr. Le Dac Son and Ms. Cao Thi Hoa - two outstanding children of Dong Tien hometown for the cause of educational development of their commune.

It is known that in addition to providing scholarships worth 100% of tuition fees and 50% of tuition fees for students admitted to the school with high scores, Dai Nam University also supports soft skills training for teachers, students and parents of the commune.

In order to implement that policy, on August 16, Dai Nam University opened a soft skills training course for hundreds of preschool, primary and secondary school teachers in Dong Tien commune. The training course aims to contribute to changing awareness, thinking and creating energy for teachers before the new school year. In the coming time, Dai Nam University will continue to implement soft skills training courses for students and parents in Dong Tien commune.
