Dai Nam University announces additional enrollment in 2023

The Admissions Council of Dai Nam University announced the admission of additional quotas for regular university training majors based on the 2023 high school graduation exam scores and 12th grade high school transcripts. The admission score ranges from 15 to 22.5 points based on the high school exam scores depending on the major.

Dai Nam University announced the additional admission round based on the high school graduation exam results, ranging from 15 to 22.5 points depending on the major. Accordingly, the admission score for the high school graduation exam results method for Medicine is 22.5 points, Pharmacy is 21 points, Nursing is 19 points, Economics - Business, Engineering Technology, and Social Sciences is 15 points.

For the method of considering based on 12th grade transcript scores, the score for receiving applications ranges from 18 to 24 points, specifically for Medicine and Pharmacy it is 24 points, Nursing 19.5 points and the remaining majors are from 18 points.

1. Admission method:

• Method 1: Use the results of 03 subjects from the high school graduation exam results according to the registered combination for admission consideration.

Candidates whose exam results meet the quality assurance threshold prescribed by the School after receiving the 2023 high school graduation exam results, except for the Health Sector, as prescribed by the Ministry of Education and Training.

• Method 2: Use the transcript results, scores of 03 subjects from the 12th grade high school study results according to the registered combination for admission consideration.

Medicine and Pharmacy majors must have a grade 12 academic record of Excellent or a high school graduation score of 8.0 or higher and a total score of 3 subjects according to the admission combination of ≥ 24 points.

Nursing major must have a grade 12 academic record of Good or higher or a high school graduation score of 6.5 or higher and a total score of 3 subjects according to the admission combination of ≥ 19.5 points.

For other majors: total score of 3 subjects according to admission combination ≥ 18 points.

2. Admission application receiving points, number of semesters and admission combinations

From the 2023-2024 school year, Dai Nam University will shorten the training time for Economics - Business majors from 4 years to 3 years, organizing 3 semesters/year. Some majors in the school's Social Sciences block are also trained in 3 years, including: Tourism and Travel Services Management, Multimedia Communications, Public Relations.

Except for Medicine, other majors have their time shortened from 0.5 year to 1 year.

The training time is reduced from 4 years to 3 years, 3.5 years, from 5 years to 4.5 years, but still ensures the study time according to the regulations of the Ministry of Education and Training. Instead of a long summer break like the old program, students studying the shortened training program have less vacation, then graduate early, quickly access the labor market, go to work and have income soon. At the same time, students will save hundreds of millions of dong on food, accommodation and living expenses during their university studies if they graduate 0.5 - 1 year early.

3. Training costs

Training fees are collected per semester (each school year has 3 semesters), and tuition fees are guaranteed to remain the same throughout the course. No additional fees will be collected.
