Dai Nam University student volunteers enthusiastically kicked off Warm Soup season 6.
“Warm soup” is one of the meaningful volunteer activities in the program “Warm winter love” of volunteer students of Dai Nam University. After 5 seasons of implementation, Dai Nam warm soup has reached thousands of poor and homeless workers in Hanoi, contributing to warming and dispelling the cold of winter.
This year, Warm Soup Season 6 officially started in early November 2019. Up to now, Warm Soup Season 6 has completed 3 episodes with 150 servings of nutritious soup donated and cooked by volunteer students.
As scheduled, over the past 6 years, the Warm Soup program of the Dai Nam University Student Volunteer Team has never once "missed its appointment".
When night falls, everyone is falling asleep in their warm rooms, then volunteer students from Dai Nam University start spreading out to the streets to "give" hot and loving chicken soup.
Soup distribution time usually lasts from 10pm to 1am.
Not only giving soup, the team members also sat down to talk and share with the elderly, children, poor workers and homeless people to help them be more optimistic and feel warmer during the cold winter days.

Sharing with us, Mr. Vu Dang Tuan Anh - Deputy Secretary of the Youth Union of Dai Nam University said: "What the young people give is not only a late night meal but also love, sympathy, and sharing with all their hearts. Every day that passes, the young people learn many useful things in life to improve themselves. That is the lesson of love, sympathy, and sharing difficulties with the poor".
It is known that by participating in the Warm Soup activity, members of the Student Volunteer Team experienced many meaningful activities such as: Mobilizing donations, cooking soup, distributing soup, sharing love with people in especially difficult circumstances in society. These are extremely valuable experiences that help young people grow up in life.
In particular, to protect the environment this year, the volunteer student team of Dai Nam University has switched from a honeycomb coal stove to a green generation stove using biological materials such as rice husks and sawdust to cook soup.

“Warm Soup” season 6 will be held from November 2019 to the end of January 2019, with about 20 episodes. Up to now, the program has given away tens of thousands of cups of nutritious soup to the disadvantaged and unfortunate.
