Dai Nam students arrange letters to call for environmental protection

With the theme “Facing natural disasters – Saving water and energy, for tomorrow’s life”, nearly 1,000 students of Dai Nam University organized a formation, reenacting the serious phenomenon of saltwater intrusion destroying the environment with the message “For tomorrow’s life” and dancing Flashmob to the background music of the song “Earth song”.
With the theme “Facing natural disasters – Saving water and energy, for tomorrow’s life”, nearly 1,000 students of Dai Nam University organized a formation, reenacting the serious phenomenon of saltwater intrusion destroying the environment with the message “For tomorrow’s life” and dancing Flashmob to the background music of the song “Earth song”.
To celebrate the 85th anniversary of the founding of the Ho Chi Minh Communist Youth Union, in order to propagate to staff, lecturers and students about the harmful effects of climate change, helping students raise awareness in using energy, saving and protecting clean water resources, Dai Nam University has just organized a commemorative rally with a series of environmental protection activities with the theme: "Facing natural disasters - saving water and energy, for life tomorrow".
At the ceremony, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Phan Trong Phuc - Principal of the University called for and encouraged the spirit of the students, emphasizing to the students about the unusual developments and consequences that climate change causes to humans. In particular, in Vietnam recently, the El Nino phenomenon has appeared continuously in the Southern region, causing drought, seriously affecting the daily life and production of the people here. The Principal called on the staff, lecturers, and youth of Dai Nam University to join hands to fight against natural disasters.

The image of rising sea levels destroying life, expressed by nearly 1,000 Dai Nam students, caused a great deal of emotion, awakening the hearts of everyone to what to do in the face of such a terrible natural disaster. And that action is: Save water and protect energy.
Join hands to fight against natural disasters "For life tomorrow"
In addition, Dai Nam University also organized many other welcoming activities such as: Donating to raise funds for "Drops of love " (buying cans to support the drought-stricken provinces in the West); organizing the game "carrying water to overcome obstacles" to improve students' understanding of natural disasters, protecting precious resources such as water and energy for future life.
The game "carrying water and overcoming obstacles" attracted the participation of many students.
