“Dai Nam Cup 2022”: Who are the two champions?

“Dai Nam Cup” is an annual football tournament organized by the Youth Union of Dai Nam University with the aim of creating a healthy and useful playground to connect new students; maintain and promote the sports movement; strengthen the spirit of solidarity among students; respond to the movement activities to celebrate the 15th Anniversary of Dai Nam University (November 14, 2007 - November 14, 2022) and Welcome Vietnamese Teachers' Day November 20.

After nearly 01 month of competition, overcoming many formidable opponents, the men's football team of Economic Law 15-01,02 and the women's football team of Business Administration officially became the champions of the "Dai Nam Cup 2022" season.

Dai Nam Cup 2022 sets a "huge" record in the number of participating teams

Starting from October 29 to November 22, the "Dai Nam Cup 2022" Football Tournament brings together 48 men's football teams and 12 women's football teams to compete (the most ever); bringing to the audience nearly 90 dramatic and fiery matches with 329 goals, 163 players scoring; demonstrating fierce and courageous competition with a noble sportsmanship spirit, solidarity and honesty.

The highlight of the "Dai Nam Cup 2022" is the methodical, elaborate and professional organization and operation of the season. The matches take place on a large, beautiful and modern field system; all competing teams have invested carefully in costumes, creating their own colors; the way the competition is organized and the season is operated professionally according to Fifa standards; the referees are experienced and highly specialized people from prestigious sports organizations; the medical work for the season is also carefully prepared by the Organizing Committee from medical staff, stretchers, first aid equipment, etc.

In particular, the School Board always closely monitors, encourages and motivates the teams in a timely manner. In addition, the season also has the support and companionship of many cadres and lecturers from faculties, departments, offices, institutes and centers in the school.

The final match was a confrontation between the most deserving teams: women's Business Administration vs. Joint Pharmaceutical & Logistics; men's Economic Law 15-01,02 vs. Multimedia Communications 15-01,02 & 16-01.

"Dai Nam Cup 2022" is a healthy playground, helping to connect students from the whole school.

After a dramatic match in the men's and women's finals, the champions of the "Dai Nam Cup 2022" football tournament officially named the women's Business Administration and the men's Economic Law 15-01.02.

The champion was the men's team Economic Law 15-01.02.

The brave female "warriors" of Business Administration lifted the championship cup of the "Dai Nam Cup 2022" football tournament.

Runners-up went to the female Medicine & Logistics Alliance and the male Multimedia Communications 15-01, 02 & 16-01. Third place was awarded to the female Chinese Language & Culture; the male Law 14-01 & 16-01.

Runner-up went to the male Multimedia Communications 15-01, 02 & 16-01.

Mr. Pham Van Minh - Head of Soft Skills Training and Development Department awarded Second Prize to the girls from the Pharmaceutical & Logistic Alliance.

Also within the framework of the season, the Organizing Committee awarded the title of “Top scorer” to female player Nguyen Thi Huyen Thuong – Business Administration with 13 goals and male player Dang Nguyen Duong – Economic Law 15-01.02 with 17 goals scored. The Miss DNU Football award was given to player Tran Bach Duong – E-commerce.

The Faculty of Law "reaped a bumper crop" when the men's team Law 14-01 & 16-01 won third place overall.

Third Prize was awarded to the Chinese Language and Culture female team.

Evaluating the tournament, Mr. Vu Dang Tuan Anh - Secretary of the Youth Union, Head of the Organizing Committee said: “Dai Nam Cup 2022 is an explosive season in terms of the number of participating teams, 60 men's and women's teams with nearly 800 players competing. This year's tournament took place with determination, enthusiasm, dedication on the field for the flag and colors, bringing impressive performances; demonstrating the high spirit of sportsmanship, actively participating in the movement activities of Dai Nam University students".

Mr. Dinh Quang Hung - Vice Principal affirmed: "The school will continue to maintain and promote sports activities for students to improve their health and relieve stress after studying hours; at the same time, create a vibrant competitive atmosphere, a spirit of exchange and learning, solidarity, mutual support, and soft skills training, contributing to promoting the sports movement in the whole school..."

Mr. Bui Duc Anh - Deputy Secretary of the School Youth Union awarded the Golden Boot to player Dang Nguyen Duong - Economic Law 15-01.02.

Player Nguyen Thi Huyen Thuong - Business Administration received the Top Scorer award with 13 goals scored.

Miss Football Award was given to player Tran Bach Duong - E-commerce.

“Dai Nam Cup 2022” has ended with many beautiful memories and emotions. Surely the beautiful plays, great goals, the sublime emotions when scoring, successfully blocking the ball… will be remembered forever in the hearts of the players and fans.
