Ministry of Health recommends drivers wear masks
The Ministry of Health has issued recommendations on COVID-19 prevention for drivers of public transport and vehicles using connection applications.
Accordingly, before working, drivers need to monitor their own health. If they have fever, cough, difficulty breathing, or fatigue, they must immediately go to a medical facility for examination, consultation, and treatment, and proactively isolate themselves at home, monitor their health, and notify the management unit.
Do not go to work if you are in home quarantine as required by health authorities.
Drivers need to prepare necessary equipment for working hours such as drinking water and personal cups (ensure hygiene); tissues, masks, gloves, hand sanitizer containing alcohol (at least 60% alcohol); personal clothes for work, trash bags...
While working, drivers must wear masks when in contact with or interacting with passengers. Take the initiative to instruct passengers to wear masks properly. Cover your nose and mouth when coughing or sneezing, preferably with a cloth or handkerchief, or your sleeve to reduce the spread of respiratory secretions. Put used tissues in a sealed bag to dispose of in the trash in the designated place and wash your hands with sanitizer...
At the end of the shift, the driver should clean up and dispose of the bag containing tissues, masks, and used items in a properly covered trash can. Wash hands with soap and clean water. In particular, do not wear work clothes home. Put used clothes in a sealed bag and wash them after each shift.
The Ministry of Health also requires regular disinfection of vehicles. Disinfect with common detergents such as soap or disinfectant solutions containing 0.05% active chlorine or containing at least 60% alcohol. Regularly clean, wash, and disinfect the surface of the steering wheel, car door handles, seats, windows, car floors, car air conditioners and other surfaces to ensure the hygiene of vehicles participating in traffic.
