On the morning of March 11, 2016, Dai Nam University (DNU) welcomed, had academic exchanges and discussed the 2+2 joint training program and scholarship programs with representatives of Southern Taiwan University of Science and Technology (STUST).
Innovation and improvement of training quality, strengthening and expanding international cooperation have been the strategic directions of Dai Nam University since its establishment, aiming to promote the position of the University in the national education system and strengthen friendship with international schools. On the morning of March 11, 2016, Dai Nam University (DNU) welcomed, had academic exchanges and discussed the 2+2 joint training program, scholarship programs with representatives of the Southern Taiwan University of Science and Technology (STUST) at the Scientific Council room, Dai Nam University, 56 Vu Trong Phung.
The meeting was attended by MSc. Nguyen Viet Anh – Vice Principal of the University, MSc. Nguyen Luong Long – Director of the Institute of Training and International Cooperation. On the side of STUST, there were Dr. Ming – Lung Roger Yang – Head of the International Cooperation Department, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Nai-Shang Liou – Deputy Dean of the Faculty of Mechanical Engineering.

At the beginning of the meeting, the two sides briefly introduced the history of the school's development, training and research programs, and exchanged basic information on development orientation, learning and working conditions, especially contents related to international cooperation in education and training; 2+2 student exchange program (2 years in Vietnam, 2 years in Taiwan), and committed to promoting the relationship between the two schools to become increasingly close, sustainable and long-term.
Dai Nam University and Southern Taiwan University of Science and Technology have met and discussed the student exchange program. Therefore, in this meeting, MSc. Nguyen Viet Anh emphasized promoting comprehensive cooperation with STUST, expanding relations and strengthening friendship between the two schools. Regarding the 2+2 student exchange program, MSc. Nguyen Viet Anh proposed that the two schools expand the 2+2 program, not only training in English but also in Chinese, focusing on the fields of economics and information technology.
Mr. Roger Yang - Head of International Cooperation Department of STUST believes in the success of the 2+2 program. He said: "The 2+2 student exchange program between the two schools not only expands cooperation and strengthens friendship, but also creates learning conditions for students of both schools, helping them have the opportunity to experience the learning environment and training programs of Vietnam and Taiwan. Training talents for the two countries, providing a quality labor force."

At the end of the working session, STUST representatives met and interacted with students of the 8th course, Faculty of Information Technology and Faculty of English in computer room 301. Here, Mr. Roger Yang and the students talked and discussed the 2+2 program. Many questions were raised by the students such as tuition fees, scholarships, study conditions and especially job support after studying at STUST. Dai Nam students confidently asked questions and communicated in English with Dr. Ming-Lung Roger Yang, many of them received souvenirs from STUST.
STUST delegates met and talked with Dai Nam students.
The talk with Dai Nam students took place in a short time but helped the representative of Southern Taiwan University, Taiwan realize the friendliness, eagerness to learn as well as foreign language ability of Dai Nam students.
Students are confident in communicating in English with Mr. Roger Yang.

Many students were lucky to receive souvenir gifts from STUST school.
STUST is a large university in Taiwan with many training majors in economics, technology, social sciences, etc. This is also a university that has many Vietnamese students in general, and Dai Nam University students in particular, studying abroad and doing Master's research. With the 2+2 student exchange program, training cooperation and expanding cooperation between the two schools will create a premise to promote and strengthen the relationship between the two schools. Academic exchanges and meetings with foreign partner universities will always be promoted by Dai Nam and bring them closer to students.
