DETAILED PLAN
“DNU Elegant Students 2017” Contest

I. TIME AND PLACE
1. Time: 19:00, Monday, November 13, 2017
2. Location: Main outdoor stage, Dai Nam University - Phu Lam Campus
3. Main officer in charge: Comrade Pham Hong Duc - Deputy Secretary of the School Youth Union.

II. CONTENT
1. Contestants
- All students studying at Dai Nam University .
- Female: height 1m58 or more .
- Male: Height 1m70 or more .
- No criminal record, not under criminal prosecution .
- Not yet transgender .
2. Allocation of number of candidates: Each faculty has a minimum number of students according to the allocation, there is no maximum limit.

3. Registration file: Includes 02 copies: hard copy and soft copy.
- Application form (according to the form of the Organizing Committee published on the school's website and the program's fan page) .
- 3 photos taken within the last 3 months ( including: 1 portrait photo 4x6, 1 full body photo, 1 bare face photo 10x15).
- Time to receive registration documents: from September 26, 2017 to October 6, 2017.

5. Competition rounds
a. Preliminary round
- Time: 14:00 Tuesday , October 17 , 2017 .
- Location: Dai Nam University Hall - Phu Lam Campus
- Content:
+ Check height, weight and body measurements.
+ Test to learn about history, culture and society in the form of multiple choice questions.
+ Candidates perform in their chosen costumes and are interviewed by the Organizing Committee.
- The Organizing Committee will select 30 best candidates (15 male - 15 female) to compete in the Talent round of the DNU Elegant Student Contest 2017.
- On October 18 , 2017, the Organizing Committee will announce the results on the School's Website and the program's Fanpage and directly notify the contestants who have entered the Talent round.
b. Talent Round:
- Time: 14:00 Thursday, October 26 , 2017 .
- Location: Dai Nam University Hall - Phu Lam Campus.
- Contest content: the contestant's talent performance lasts 0.5 minutes. In this part, the contestant will be able to show off his/her most outstanding talent in front of the judges (each contestant is allowed to receive help from up to 10 friends, in which the contestant plays the main role).
- The Organizing Committee will select 20 best candidates (10 male - 10 female) to compete in the Final Round.
- On October 28, 2017, the Organizing Committee will announce the results on the School's Website and the program's Fanpage and directly notify the contestants who have entered the Final round.
- The scores of this Talent round will be saved for evaluation and scoring in the Final round. If the contestant does not participate in this round, he/she will be automatically eliminated from the DNU Elegant Student contest.

Note: - Candidates must prepare their own makeup, costumes and props.
- Candidates must send music, clips, and images used during the contest to the Organizing Committee 2 days before the contest date.
c. Final Round
- Time: 19:00 Monday , November 13 , 2017
- Location: Outdoor stage - Dai Nam University - Phu Lam Campus
- Exam content:
+ Evening gown performance (supported by the organizers) .
+ Traditional costume performance ( supported by the Organizing Committee)
+ Talent show (selected acts)
+ Behavior contest (drawing lots and answering questions)
- Supporting activities: (taking place before the final night):
+ Participate in volunteer activities.
+ Participate in the school's media events celebrating the 10th anniversary of Dai Nam University.
+ Posing in front of the camera: This is the content that shows the contestant's aesthetics, style, and personality through the way they choose their outfits and pose in front of the camera. The photo series is used for communication on the contest's Facebook social networking site and introduced in the Final night.
+ Film 01 group clip, take group photos with content about the school.

10. Some other regulations:
- The Organizing Committee is allowed to use the Contestants' images for communication activities, promoting the image of the contest and the School.
- Before participating in the final round, the contestants will participate in a number of social and charity activities such as: Youth volunteer activities to visit and exchange at the Nursing Center for War Invalids, the Center for Care of People with Merits in Hanoi; participate in outdoor photography activities, etc.
- Contestants who win prizes in the competition must be responsible for maintaining their image. Maintaining image includes the following issues:
+ Do not record videos or take nude photos or sensitive images that are offensive or inappropriate to Vietnamese customs.
+ Do not make any false statements that affect the contest organizers.
+ The winners of the contest must actively participate in the school's movement activities.
