College – Thoughts to Avoid

University is not the only way to study, but it is the shortest, most stable, and most decisive path for people to grow up and succeed in all aspects of life. Whether you are just entering your first year or your final year, the following article is for you.

1. College is very LONG

Never "misunderstand" that college is easy.

“College is so easy!” This is probably a classic saying you will hear from your seniors. Many new students believe it is true, that in college there will be no more endless oral exams, 15-minute, 30-minute exams like in high school; that they can skip classes freely, study however they want as long as they get a high score at the end of the exam… Especially, after a stressful and difficult university entrance exam, many students allow themselves to “let off steam” too much, gradually forming negative study habits and psychology.

In reality, university is very different from high school. There are new learning methods, new testing and evaluation methods. In particular, university requires a great deal of self-study and self-research.

Therefore, the “misconceptions” about “college is easy”; not being able to determine the motivation, purpose and effective method of studying at university from the beginning will make your 4, 5, or 6 years at university meaningless. And of course, if you only have a degree but no knowledge, it is inevitable that you will still be unemployed and unable to find a job after graduating from university!

2. After graduating from college, you will have a JOB.

Many young people still have the unrealistic idea that, just having a university degree will automatically get them the job they want. This is an extremely unrealistic perception and if you still have that thought, please get rid of it as soon as possible.

3. Good Degree is everything

6. Let yourself go
