Civic Week and meeting with new students of K17, Faculty of Law – the beginning of a promising future

Welcome to the new students of K17 who have become members under the common roof of Dai Nam University. With the mission of "Training students to have a good life and be good citizens after graduation" as well as "Contributing to promoting changes in Vietnamese higher education", the Faculty of Law hopes to become a "common roof" to foster your maturity and dreams.

On September 19, the Faculty of Law - Dai Nam University organized a meeting for new students of the 17th course. Attending the meeting were Mr. Dinh Quang Hung - Vice Principal of the School, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Pham Van Loi - Assistant to the President of the School Council - Manager of the Faculty of Law, Lawyer Do Gia Thu - Deputy Dean of the Faculty of Law, Dr. Nguyen Thi Vy - Deputy Dean of the Faculty of Law, MSc. Nguyen Tuan Anh - Deputy Dean of the Faculty of Law, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Bui Xuan Duc - Professional Advisor of the Faculty of Law - Former Dean of the Faculty of Law, Dr. Do Thi Minh Thu - Professional Advisor - Nguyen Deputy Dean of the Faculty of Law, Lawyer MSc. Le Thi Diep - Lecturer of the Faculty, Lawyer MSc. Nguyen Ngoc Lan - Lecturer of the Faculty; and many lecturers and staff in the Faculty. This is the first official meeting between teachers in the faculty and nearly 200 new students after the first 2 weeks of studying at the school.

During the meeting, the teachers informed the students about the mission, development orientation of the Faculty, rights and obligations, and policies for students. The practical sharing with the field of study and career orientation also helped the students understand more clearly about their "Law" path. Along with that, equipping the students with safe living skills when living away from home for the new students, hoping that they will apply them well throughout the next 4 years of study.

The new students also experienced moments of “great fun”, “laughing freely” with interesting minigames, and posing very mischievously. These will certainly be unforgettable memories for any new student during their time studying at the Faculty of Law in particular and Dai Nam University in general.

The students of the 17th Law course have just entered the university, so they are still confused and shy. However, the meeting and the sharing of teachers and alumni have helped them to be more confident and excited to officially prepare to enter the colorful student life.
