Faced with hundreds of paths in life, choosing a major that suits you and the needs of society is not easy. You love and want to pursue Economic Law but are wondering about the future of this major. So, before filling out the application form, take a look at a few small things below to have a more general view of Economic Law!

Attractive income

In the past, Law was always considered a noble profession, respected in society because of the profound knowledge that students had. People believed that not only the reputation but also the salary for this profession was also desirable. Therefore, Law always attracted students to study.

Most students majoring in Law dream of having a high income after graduation and finding a job. But in reality, many students have been disappointed with their income after graduation. Only students who graduate from Economic Law can get their dream income. According to a survey by the statistics office, the salary of a graduate of Economic Law is twice as high as that of a Civil Lawyer.

The income of an Economic Lawyer is always a dream number, not only in Vietnam but also in many countries around the world. The average salary of an Economic Lawyer in Australia is AUD $107,896/year. In the US, the income of an Economic Lawyer is $180,000 per year, (Source www.forbes.com ), In Vietnam, the starting salary of a new graduate in Economic Law when working at a private enterprise is around 10 - 12 million VND.

Economic Law - An indispensable industry in an integrated economy

Our country's economy is growing with the continuous growth of domestic companies, enterprises and foreign-invested corporations. The international integration process is taking place with strong steps. More than ever, the legal corridor and issues related to economic policies must be ensured. Economic law accordingly becomes a superior 'protection tool', contributing to maintaining stability, safety and bringing high efficiency in the operation of business units.

Grasping and equipping knowledge of domestic and foreign laws is extremely important for the development of any business, agency or organization related to economic activities.

Thereby, the acumen and knowledge of experts in Economic Law will contribute to ensuring sustainable operations for businesses, expanding production and integrating into the international economy more smoothly. Therefore, the field of Economic Law is considered an indispensable field in the context of globalization.

Promising career opportunities

According to the Ministry of Justice, from now until 2020, it is estimated that for judicial positions alone, Vietnam will need about 13,000 personnel, 2,000 notaries, 3,000 enforcement officers, 300 examiners and specialists to work as bailiffs. Accordingly, economic lawyers need to be well-trained to meet both quantity and quality requirements, have specialized economic skills, high business qualifications and legal knowledge to perform well in the above positions.

Where is it easy to get a job after studying Economic Law?

Whether it is a top or middle school, the Economic Law major is still trained according to the curriculum set by the Ministry of Education. When you graduate, you will have the same theoretical and practical foundation and the same amount of knowledge. Depending on your own ability, you can apply the knowledge you have acquired at school to your job well. When you apply for a job, the employer will evaluate you based on the value you contribute to their company, not on the red diploma stating where you graduated, that is why there is always a probationary period for new candidates.

Measure your strength to be able to choose a university that is suitable for your academic ability and admission score. For top schools, the admission score for Economic Law is around 23 - 26 points. For middle-ranking schools, the standard score for Economic Law will be below 20 points and especially at Dai Nam University, you can apply by another form and apply by high school transcript.
