Central Acupuncture Hospital officially becomes a practice facility for DNU Health students

On the morning of December 22, 2020, Dai Nam University (DNU) signed a training cooperation agreement with the Central Acupuncture Hospital. The signing ceremony took place in a solemn and intimate atmosphere, marking a milestone for a long-term and comprehensive cooperative relationship between the two sides, while opening up many opportunities for development, improving training quality, practice, internship and employment opportunities for DNU's health students.
The training cooperation signing ceremony was held solemnly and intimately at the Central Acupuncture Hospital.
Attending the signing ceremony, on behalf of the Central Acupuncture Hospital, there were Associate Professor, Dr. Tran Van Thanh - Director of the hospital; Associate Professor, Dr. Nghiem Huu Thanh - Chairman of the Scientific Council, former Director of the hospital; Associate Professor, Dr. Nguyen Ba Quang - Chairman of the Training Council, former Director of the hospital, Associate Professor, Dr. Vu Truong Son - former Deputy Director of the hospital and representatives of heads of departments and offices.
On the side of Dai Nam University, there was the presence of Dr. Luong Cao Dong - Principal, Dr. Le Thi Thanh Huong - Vice Principal, Dr. Le Thi Tuyet - Head of Faculty of Traditional Medicine and representatives of departments and offices.
Associate Professor, Dr. Tran Van Thanh - Director of the Central Acupuncture Hospital spoke at the signing ceremony.
Speaking at the signing ceremony, Associate Professor, Dr. Tran Van Thanh highly appreciated the purpose and significance of the training cooperation, and affirmed that the Central Acupuncture Hospital, as a leading hospital in traditional medicine under the management of the Ministry of Health, always welcomes and is ready to create the most favorable conditions for health students of Dai Nam University to practice, intern and work at the hospital after graduation (if meeting all requirements).
“In addition to medical examination and treatment, scientific research, and technology transfer, the Central Acupuncture Hospital especially values training cooperation with medical and pharmaceutical schools across the country to join hands in training generations of good doctors to inherit and promote the achievements of traditional medicine. With the training cooperation agreement signed today, the Central Acupuncture Hospital will become the official practice facility for health students of Dai Nam University. With many years of experience in training cooperation at all levels from university, master, doctor CKI, CKII, PhD, we will create the most favorable conditions for Dai Nam students…” said Associate Professor, Dr. Tran Van Thanh.
Dr. Luong Cao Dong and Associate Professor Dr. Tran Van Thanh signed a training cooperation contract.
At the signing ceremony, on behalf of the Board of Directors and the Board of Management, Dr. Luong Cao Dong thanked the hospital's Board of Directors for creating conditions for DNU health students to access and learn about medical examination and treatment, practice and intern at the leading hospital of traditional medicine in the country.

In the school's development strategy to 2025 and vision to 2030, Dai Nam University will open many new majors in the Health sector, including traditional medicine.
