Phao Hamlet, also known as the "floating house" Hamlet on the sandbank in the middle of the Red River, located in residential area No. 1, Phuc Xa Ward, Ba Dinh District, Hanoi, has existed for more than 20 years. In the hamlet, there are about 34 children of school age, but many of them do not have birth certificates. The children here mostly do not attend preschool classes. When they are of school age, they often attend charity classes. Some children are sent to school by their parents, but most of them only finish primary school and then drop out to work with their families to earn a living. That is what motivated the members of the "sharing love" volunteer group, Class 8, Faculty of Business Administration, Dai Nam University, to organize a Children's Day dedicated to the children in Phao Hamlet, with the desire to share, help them, bring joy, smiles, and gifts as International Children's Day on June 1 is approaching.

The Children's Day program was organized by some members of the Dai Nam University Volunteer Student Team with the support of the "Sharing Love" group at a small plot of land near Phao hamlet. The fairy tales were recreated by Dai Nam students in a lively and humorous way, bringing laughter to the children and their parents. In particular, the program also brought 31 gifts and 31 "love" meals to the children. In addition, the group also visited each household of the children absent from the list to give gifts and listen to their parents share about their difficult lives.

Our group "Sharing Love" visited the small house of Mrs. Nguyen Thi Luong in Phao hamlet, Ngoc Thuy ward, Long Bien district, Hanoi city, one of the residents of Phao hamlet.
Every day, Mrs. Luong wakes up at 6am with the women in the neighborhood to collect scrap metal, do gardening, and come home at noon to rest and have lunch for the whole family and her 8-year-old grandson. In the afternoon, she continues working until 7pm, then she comes home to cook, bathe her grandson, and help her daughter-in-law with the laundry. Seeing the innocent eyes of a child in such a pitiful situation makes anyone emotional.
Who knows when tomorrow, when her strength is exhausted and her limbs are no longer flexible, who will take over her responsibilities? What will happen to the 8-month-old grandchild without anyone to look after or teach him?
