“Capturing” 30 full scholarships from the Taiwanese Government, DNU students are ready to reach out to the ocean

Fully meeting the criteria of the new specialized scholarship program of the Taiwanese Government, 30 students from Dai Nam University (DNU) will go to Taiwan to study abroad this coming September. In particular, 02 final year IT students will study for a Master's degree in Refrigeration (application of AI technology to refrigeration control technology in the Semiconductor industry) at the National University of Technology - Top 10 leading universities in the field of Science and Technology in Taiwan, with priority recruitment by businesses.

What do Dai Nam University students get from the new specialized scholarship program of the Taiwanese Government?

Dai Nam University has found its own way to train high-quality human resources in Technology - Engineering, including Semiconductor Chip Technology, through comprehensive cooperation with Taiwanese Universities. With the 3+1+1 dual degree program, students complete 3 years of undergraduate training in Information Technology at Dai Nam University. From the 4th year, students go to Taiwan to study.

With the specialized scholarship program, 26 students of the Faculty of Information Technology will study Information Networks; 02 students of the Faculty of Economics and Construction Management will study Construction Architecture Technology at Taichung University of Science and Technology.

Students who meet the criteria of GPA, TOEIC 550 English certificate or equivalent or A2 Chinese are eligible to participate in the new specialized scholarship program of the Taiwanese Government.

Dai Nam University students benefit in many ways when studying abroad in Taiwan under the new specialized scholarship program:

• Regarding admission scholarships, the Taiwanese government supports 5,000 NTD (about 4 million VND).
• The Taiwanese government covers the entire tuition fee of NT$100,000/year (about VND80 million) and the company subsidizes living expenses of NT$10,000/month (about VND8 million).
• Upon completion of the study period, students will receive two university degrees from Dai Nam University and a university in Taiwan.
