If candidates do not take photos of their exam cards according to the regulations of the Ministry of Education and Training, they will be "targeted" by the exam invigilators and will be considered suspicious in the exam room if any discrepancies are discovered.

If candidates do not take photos of their exam cards according to the regulations of the Ministry of Education and Training, they will be "targeted" by the exam invigilators and will be considered suspicious in the exam room if any discrepancies are discovered.

Candidates' exam photo must be taken within the last 6 months.
Candidates' exam photo must be taken within the last 6 months.

For the 2015 National High School Exam, the Ministry of Education and Training stipulates that in the exam registration file, the candidate's photo must be a color photo of the ID card type and must be taken no more than 6 months before the application submission date.

For the Department of Education and Training, the Ministry of Education requires that when entering the Exam Registration Form , the candidate's photo must be entered (can be scanned, imported from an image file or taken directly). The candidate's photo entered into the system must have a resolution of 400x600 pixels and must be attached correctly to the candidate.

The reason why the Ministry of Education and Training issued such a regulation is because this is the most important measure for exam supervisors to monitor the practice of taking exams for others and taking exams with them in the exam room. Because in previous admission seasons, many cases of taking exams for others and taking exams with them were "exposed" when exam supervisors "scanned" their photos.

The most typical example was in the 2013 admissions, the invigilator at the Fire Prevention and Fighting University exam site suspected that a candidate did not match the photo on the exam card, so he reported it to the admissions board. After the exam, through some questions from the exam board, it was revealed that the candidate born in 1981 had taken the exam for a candidate born in 1995.

Also during that admission season, the Fire Prevention and Fighting University found two more second-year students who used the trick of taking the exam by using edited photos to fool both the person receiving the application and the exam supervisor.

According to statistics from some police schools, post-exam inspections have discovered nearly 10 cases of proxy testing. The common method of these cases is to use exam photos that have been photoshopped to look like the person taking the exam.

Another rare case related to the exam photo was at the Banking Academy exam site in 2014. There was a candidate who came to take the exam but the exam notice did not have a photo. The exam supervisor asked to present his/her ID card for verification. However, the photo on the ID card was very blurry and there was no watermark on the photo. To avoid proxy exams, the school's exam steering committee still let the candidate take the exam as usual and asked the PA83 Police to verify. After verification, the cause was that this candidate removed the plastic layer, removed the old photo, pasted a new photo and arbitrarily repainted the faded letters on the ID card.

The candidate explained that before taking the exam, he saw his old ID card photo and peeled off the ID card photo to paste a new one to make it look better. When peeling off the photo, he blurred the text on the ID card, so he re-painted the text to make it clearer. After verification, the PA83 police determined that this was the real candidate.

After April 30, candidates are not allowed to change exam subjects.

According to regulations of the Ministry of Education and Training, t registration deadline until April 30, 2015. After the registration deadline, candidates are not allowed to change the subjects they registered for and the subjects they registered for high school graduation recognition.

From April 1, 2015 to May 30, 2015, the exam registration points will collect the High School Graduation Recognition Registration Form and accompanying documents; enter the candidate's data into the QLT software. After entering the data, the computer staff will print the List of candidates registering for High School Graduation Recognition according to the prescribed form in the QLT software, and hand it over to the homeroom teacher or assigned staff to organize for students to review and sign for confirmation. Independent candidates can submit the High School Graduation Recognition Registration Form when submitting the Exam Registration Form.

No later than May 7, 2015, the exam registration points must complete the above tasks and hand over to the Department of Education and Training: Exam registration list, Exam registration file including Exam registration form, envelope with address and photo of the candidate (Exam registration form will be kept by the Department of Education and Training).

No later than May 20, 2015, the Departments of Education and Training will hand over the Exam Registration Documents containing envelopes with the candidates' addresses and photos to the exam clusters.

Candidates must have an ID card when completing the exam procedures. Departments of Education and Training and high schools guide students to have an ID card before submitting the exam registration form. In case of not having an ID card, the QLT software will assign candidates a 12-character code for management.

After submitting the Exam Registration Form, the candidate will be given an account and password by the place receiving the Exam Registration Form to log into the QLT software via the internet at http://thisinh.thithptquocgia.edu.vn . This account is used by the candidate to log into the QLT software from the time of exam registration until viewing exam results, considering recognition of high school graduation, considering university and college admission. To ensure information security, when receiving the account and password, the candidate should change the password immediately. Candidates need to keep their account and password confidential.

In case the candidate forgets his/her account and password, he/she can request a new one by contacting the place where the Exam Registration Form was submitted, or using the function to send the password to the email (email address stated in the Exam Registration Form) on the system.

Department of Education and Training Complete the inspection, update all registration data and consider high school graduation recognition into the QLT software and report to the Ministry of Education and Training no later than May 30, 2015.
