Businesses "place orders" to recruit and award scholarships to sponsor tuition fees for DNU students

“Enhancing the maximum experience between studying and doing at businesses”, “Supporting scholarships for students with high academic results and financial support when students experience at businesses” are 02 learning ecosystems of Dai Nam University that are thoroughly applied by the Faculty of E-commerce and Information Technology. Thanks to that, students are “recruited” by businesses while still in the classroom. Recently, at the Internship Summary Ceremony and Awarding Ceremony for students with academic achievements of the Faculty of E-commerce and Information Technology, 03 businesses signed official employment contracts and awarded scholarships to sponsor tuition fees for 2nd year students of the Faculty.

Participating in the program, on behalf of Dai Nam University, there were: Representatives of the Board of Directors; leaders of Departments, Offices, Institutes, Centers; Leaders, lecturers, staff and students of the Faculty of E-commerce and Information Technology.

On the guest side, there were: Mr. Tran Van Trong - General Secretary of Vietnam E-commerce Association VECOM, Mr. Nguyen Thanh Hung - Senior Council of Vietnam E-commerce Association VECOM; representatives of enterprises Trust Nation, iViet Solution, STI Vietnam, Eco Acadamy...

10 students signed official employment contracts with the company after the internship.

Speaking at the ceremony, Associate Professor, Dr. Truong Duc Thao - Head of the Faculty of E-commerce and Information Technology said: Practical training, real-life training, according to the "orders" of enterprises is the training motto of the Faculty. Students are trained in their first year through practical experience activities and practice at enterprises. In the second year, students are connected by the Faculty and sent to enterprises for internship.

Recently, second-year students (K15) of the Faculty of E-commerce and Information Technology completed a 1-month internship at Trust Nation Trading and Service Company Limited, Eco Academy E-commerce Consulting and Development Joint Stock Company and iViet Business Development Solutions Company Limited.

With excellent results in the internship, 10 K15 students were officially signed contracts with businesses. Specifically, Eco Academy E-commerce Consulting and Development JSC "recruited" 07 students to work; 03 students "joined" Trust Nation Trading and Service Company Limited; 02 students received scholarships from iViet Business Development Solutions Company Limited.

Associate Professor, Dr. Duc Thao School is proud of the achievements that the second-year students of the Faculty of E-Commerce and Information Technology have achieved after 1 month of internship.

“At first, I was quite worried about whether the students would be able to integrate into the environment and keep up with the pace of the business. But then they did very well, received positive feedback from the business and “placed recruitment orders” right from their second year of university. This is a testament to the continuous efforts in training and studying of the teachers and students of the Faculty of E-commerce and Information Technology,” said Associate Professor, Dr. Truong Duc Thao.

Vietnam E-commerce Association commits to support E-commerce & Technology

Mr. Nguyen Thanh Hung - Senior Council of Vietnam E-commerce Association VECOM highly appreciated the training motto of the Faculty of E-commerce & Digital Marketing. At the same time, he affirmed that he will create all conditions for students to access leading e-commerce enterprises in Vietnam.

With the support of Vietnam E-commerce Association VECOM, teachers and students of the Faculty of E-commerce and Information Technology will have the opportunity to:

1. Become an official member to participate in the Order Fulfillment Forum in August organized by the Association.

2. Dai Nam University is considered as one of 6 Universities in the North in VECOM's Uni-tour.

3. Students of the Faculty of E-commerce and Information Technology will receive maximum support when participating in the Digital Business Competition 2023.

At the Ceremony, 06 groups of students conducted internship reports and presented projects. With the advice of business representatives, the teams brought to the competition practical projects that were suitable for real-life needs. The meticulousness in each marketing campaign once again affirmed the acumen of Dai Nam University's e-commerce students.

The Faculty of E-commerce and Information Technology awarded 06 teams; at the same time, commended and awarded students with Excellent and Good grades; class officers and union officers who made many contributions to building the class, actively participating in movement activities organized by the Faculty and the School.

03 ways to become a student of E-commerce and Digital Economics at Dai Nam University

In the 2023-2024 school year, Dai Nam University will enroll 200 full-time undergraduate students in E-commerce (code: 7340122) and 100 full-time undergraduate students in Digital Economics (code: 7310109) through 3 admission methods.

Specifically:

Method 1: Use the results of 03 subjects from the high school graduation exam results according to the registered combination for admission consideration.
