“Blood given, life remains”

With the message “Donating blood is giving life”; “A drop of blood given, a life left”, the Dai Nam Red Drop program every year receives the attention and response of a large number of staff, lecturers and students inside and outside the school. Promoting the spirit of mutual love and the tradition of donating blood to save lives of teachers and students, Dai Nam University continues to organize the 3rd Dai Nam Red Drop program.

Voluntary blood donation is an annual activity of teachers and students of Dai Nam University.

Accordingly, the 3rd voluntary blood donation festival - Dai Nam Red Drops will take place from 08:30 - 17:00, Thursday, June 11, 2020 at the 1st floor hall, Phu Lam campus - Ha Dong - Hanoi. All staff, lecturers, employees and students inside and outside the school who are eligible can participate in voluntary blood donation.

In addition to training professional knowledge, skills and practical experience, Dai Nam University especially values emotional education and community responsibility for students through meaningful volunteer activities, such as: Love Cake, Warm Winter, Traditional Camp, Green Summer, activities to join hands to protect the environment, voluntary blood donation, etc.

Voluntary blood donation is one of the annual charity activities of Dai Nam. With the message “Donating blood is giving life”; “Giving blood, saving life”, the noble gesture of teachers and students of Dai Nam University not only contributes to solving the blood shortage, increasing the national blood reserve, bringing life opportunities to patients in need of blood but also deeply demonstrates the spirit of sharing and responsibility to the community.

Over the years, the Dai Nam Blood Drop program has received the attention and support of many staff, lecturers and students inside and outside the school. Typically in 2019, on the first day, Dai Nam teachers and students collected 500 units of blood.

With this noble gesture, in case the school's staff, lecturers, employees and students are in danger and need blood at any time, the school can mobilize blood to save lives.

Teachers and students of Dai Nam University actively participate in voluntary blood donation.

Participating in voluntary blood donation also brings many health benefits. Blood donors receive free health check-ups and consultations; check and notify the results of tests (information is confidential) on blood type, HIV, hepatitis B, hepatitis C, syphilis, malaria, etc.; receive meaningful gifts and voluntary blood donation certificates from the Steering Committee for Humanitarian Blood Donation - Central Institute of Hematology and Blood Transfusion.
