Banking and finance industry: reducing pressure for candidates with many new subject combinations

In the 2015 university entrance exam, the Ministry of Education and Training has decided to announce the subject combinations for university and college entrance exams. Accordingly, high school students will have less pressure from exams and can choose from many subject combinations to apply for their favorite major.
As in previous years, when registering for the Finance - Banking exam, candidates can only choose subject combinations according to traditional exam blocks such as: A00 (Math, Physics, Chemistry), A01 (Math, Physics, English), D1 (Literature, Math, English). However, since the Ministry of Education and Training decided to launch a new combination of subjects for admission, the opportunity to study Finance - Banking has become more open.

Finance - Banking at Dai Nam University (Major in Corporate Finance; Commercial Banking) has the code D340201. The school plans to enroll 100 students in Finance - Banking.

Also according to the decision of the Ministry, Dai Nam University has complied with the principles and introduced many new admission subject combinations, suitable for the Finance - Banking major. When registering to study Finance - Banking at Dai Nam University, candidates will be able to choose to be admitted with the following subject combinations:

A00 (Math, Physics, Chemistry)
A01 (Math, Physics, English); D27* (Math, Physics, Russian); D29* (Math, Physics, French); D30* (Math, Physics, Chinese);
C01* (Literature, Math, Physics);
D01 (Literature, Math, English); D02 (Literature, Math, Russian); D03 (Literature, Math, French); D04 (Literature, Math, Chinese);

In addition, the school has introduced an admission method with the following criteria:
Admission method 1. 40% of high school graduates are admitted based on the results of the national high school exam at exam clusters hosted by universities; Admission threshold according to the 2015 university and college admission regulations.

Admission method 2. 60% of high school graduates are admitted based on their high school academic results with the following conditions:
- Total score of three subjects according to exam block of grade 12 for candidates applying for university program is 18.0 points or higher.
- Grade 12 conduct ranked Good or higher.
