However, according to experts, the current human resources in the banking and finance industry are still "both lacking and weak". The supporting knowledge such as information technology and foreign languages are weak; lack of industry knowledge, limited communication.

Banking and Finance – the leading applied major at Dai Nam University

As one of the first faculties of Dai Nam University, the Faculty of Finance and Banking always guides learners to practice, grasp and promptly apply new trends in the field of study.

With the goal of 100% of students having jobs after graduation, the Faculty of Finance - Banking constantly connects and cooperates with leading commercial banks in Vietnam, such as: OCB Bank, Agribank, ViettinBank, Techcombank, ACB, BIDV, SCB, VNDirect...

In addition, students of Finance - Banking at DNU are also equipped with supplementary knowledge, such as: information technology, foreign languages, soft skills, international student exchanges... Every year, students also have the opportunity to receive valuable scholarships from businesses, long-term partners of the faculty and the University.

Training cooperation agreements with banks are signed to ensure a practice and internship environment and create quality output for students.

In particular, students not only study at the Finance - Banking Practice Center, but also work directly on Core Banking software (software commonly used in banks). Up to now, Dai Nam University is the only unit applying this software in practical training. This helps students to access and practice banking skills right from the classroom; and helps them to be solid in their expertise, ready to apply to leading banks and enterprises in Vietnam.

In the 2021-2022 school year, the Finance - Banking Department of Dai Nam University will recruit candidates based on one of the subject groups A00, C01, C14, D01 using the results of the high school graduation exam and the average score of grade 12 according to the group of 3 subjects for admission ≥ 18 points.
