On December 22, 2021, the article "Podcast - new development trend of multimedia communication in Vietnam" (Voice - new trend of multimedia communication in Vietnam) by co-authors: Dr. Tran Bao Khanh - Head of the Faculty of Communication and Dr. Tran Van Le - Deputy Head of the Faculty of Communication was published in the scientific journal Asen.

This is one of the famous scientific journals in the field of journalism and communication, under the Faculty of Journalism - Russian Federal State University, marking a development step in the training orientation of parallel research and practice of the Faculty of Communication - Dai Nam University.

The article “Podcast – new development trend of multimedia communication in Vietnam” studies the development of podcasts in the media in Vietnam as an inevitable trend of information reception in the public. Through studying podcast activities in many newspapers, the article has made assessments of activities and in-depth comments on the trend of podcast content in the coming time.

(Dr. Tran Bao Khanh (speech) - Author of the article)

The article also discovered and analyzed three advantages in creating podcasts for press and media agencies, which are:

First, large news and media organizations can create podcasts as an extension of their news channels. Their extensive industry experience gives them valuable resources to create quality podcast content.

Second, these organizations have gained a “loyal” readership and, most importantly, readers' trust in the editorial office.

Third, press and media organizations have extensive experience in interview preparation and creating video or audio content.

These advantages are the premise for the development of a type of media that is not new but only at this stage has it fully developed its advantages with today's trend of accessing user information.

(Dr. Tran Van Le - co-author of the article)

If knowledge and practical experience are the right arm, knowledge from scientific research is the other arm, creating the comprehensive strength of the modern training motto. Scientific research and teaching are two activities that support each other. The results of scientific research are meaningful as a basis for improving and innovating the content, methods, and forms of teaching organization. The knowledge and experience gathered in the process of scientific research will supplement and create conditions for lecturers to improve their professional qualifications and professional skills; supplement practical documents for lectures, contributing to innovating the content and teaching methods.

This requires each lecturer to focus time and effort on their scientific research. Each person will have to become an expert in their field of research. This will lead to a deeper, broader and more interesting quality of lectures.
