Celebrating the 87th anniversary of the founding of the Ho Chi Minh Communist Youth Union (March 26, 1931 - March 26, 2018)
"Donating blood to save lives" is a noble and humane gesture of every Vietnamese person towards the community and is a humane feature in today's society.
Donating blood does not have any negative effects on health, and even has certain positive effects on the body. New blood will be regenerated and replenished in a short time for the blood donor.
For the health of the community and for our own health, the Ho Chi Minh Communist Youth Union of Dai Nam University organizes a humanitarian blood donation festival. Staff, lecturers and students should show their humanity and volunteer spirit by enthusiastically responding and participating in the blood donation festival to save lives, considering it the responsibility and sacred duty of each person. A drop of our red blood will bring joy and happiness to the community and help many people overcome difficulties and hardships.
I. PURPOSE - REQUIREMENTS
1. Purpose
- Celebrating the 87th anniversary of the founding of the Ho Chi Minh Communist Youth Union (March 26, 1931 - March 26, 2018).
- Responding to the theme of Youth Month 2018 "Creative youth building the country".
- Donate blood to help people who have accidents, patients with blood diseases, patients who need blood transfusion surgery...
- Donating blood to save lives demonstrates our nation's tradition of mutual love, while also contributing to people's health care and increasing national blood reserves.
- Raise awareness of union members, youth and students about voluntary blood donation.
- This is also the process of checking and evaluating the propaganda activities and persuading union members to participate in the movement of the union branches and inter-union branches in the school.
2. Requirements
- Attracted a large number of staff, lecturers and students to participate.
- Union members and students participate actively, especially union members who have registered to participate need to seriously follow the school's plan.
II. PARTICIPANTS
- Staff, lecturers and employees of the whole school.
- Union members, students of the whole school and overseas workers.
III. CONTENT, TIME, LOCATION
1. Time: From 08:30 – 17:00, Thursday, March 22, 2018
2. Location: Dai Nam University Yard - Phu Lam Campus, Ha Dong, Hanoi.
3. Specific implementation content:
- Number of cadres, lecturers, staff, students and overseas workers expected to participate in blood donation: 300 people. Of which:
+ Staff, lecturers, employees and students of Dai Nam University: 200 people.
+ Overseas workers: 100 people.
4. Rights of blood donors
First , get free health check-up and consultation.
Second, you will be examined and know more about your health, be informed of the results of blood tests (completely confidential) about blood types and diseases such as HIV/AIDS or malaria... if any member is infected with the above diseases or suspected of having pathogens, the doctor will invite them for free consultation and examination.
Third, for every unit of blood donated, the voluntary blood donor will be cared for and receive gifts according to current regulations of the State and will be given a movie ticket presented by Dai Nam University.
Fourth, be granted a certificate of voluntary blood donation by the Steering Committee for Humanitarian Blood Donation of the Central Institute of Hematology and Blood Transfusion.
Fifth, in addition to the honor value of the certificate, voluntary blood donors are also compensated for blood up to the amount of blood donated in case of an incident. The certificate is valid for all public and non-public facilities.
IV. IMPLEMENTATION ORGANIZATION
1. On behalf of the School Youth Union Executive Committee and the Communications Department
- The school's Youth Union Executive Committee coordinates with the Central Institute of Hematology and Blood Transfusion to mobilize, propagate and organize voluntary blood donation.
- The Volunteer Student Team of Dai Nam University, the Blood Donation Campaign Team of the National Institute of Hematology and Blood Transfusion, and the Class Executive Committees directly went to class to mobilize and make a list of students who registered to participate.
- The Communications Department organizes propaganda to mobilize union members and students to participate through the school's information channels such as: Bulletin boards, Websites, billboards, posters, Porters, and banners.
2. On the part of the Faculties
- Disseminate the purpose and meaning of activities to 100% of students in the faculty.
- Mobilize maximum number of students to participate in blood donation.
- Assign department staff to be in charge of blood donation activities.
3. On the side of Student Management Department
- Responsible for managing, supervising, urging and supporting students throughout the blood donation process.
- Support BTC during the activities.
4. On the side of the Administration Department
- Ensure facilities, security, safety, and environmental sanitation for the blood donation festival to take place successfully.
- Arrange vehicles to transport blood-donating students from Vu Trong Phung campus to Ba La campus.
5. On the part of the Finance - Accounting department
- Consulting and creating financial conditions for activities to take place successfully.
