Admission requirements
Degree requirements:
- For Accounting, Finance - Banking, Information Technology: Have a college degree in the same major or group of majors.
- For the Pharmaceutical industry:
- Have a college degree in Pharmacy;
- Have a certificate of practice of Pharmacy.
- For Nursing:
- Have a college degree in the right major or the same major group as Nursing (Medical Doctor, Midwife, Traditional Medicine, etc.)
- Candidates who graduated from the same major as Nursing must have a certificate of knowledge transfer in the correct major.
Recognition of learning outcomes and credit transfer, supplementary learning:
- People with a diploma from intermediate level or higher and certificates that meet the regulations of the School will be considered for recognition of learning results and credit transfer of subjects in the list of subjects to be converted/ supplemented with knowledge in the current regular university training program of the School.
- Candidates must take additional courses and credits in the list of additional courses according to the School's regulations.
Health conditions:
- Be healthy enough to study, not have infectious or mental illnesses.
Background requirements:
- Clear personal history, not currently serving disciplinary action at the warning level or higher and not currently serving a criminal sentence, confirmed by the human resources management agency where you are working or the local authority where you reside.
Quality assurance thresholds for Pharmacy and Nursing
Candidates must satisfy one of the following criteria:
For the Pharmaceutical Industry
- Grade 12 academic achievement is Excellent or higher;
- Graduated from high school with honors or higher; or average score of high school cultural subjects is 8.0 or higher;
- Grade 12 academic achievement is Good and has 3 years of working experience in the right field of training;
- College graduate with honors or higher;
- Graduated from college with good grade and have 3 years of working experience in the right major.
For Nursing
- Grade 12 academic performance must be Good or higher, or the average score of high school cultural subjects must be 6.5 or higher;
- Graduated from high school with a good grade, or had an average grade 12 education and 5 years of work experience in the relevant field of study;
- College graduate with good grade or higher.
Application form
1. Application form (according to form);
2. Certified copy of college diploma and transcript;
3. Valid copy of High School Diploma and Transcript (for candidates applying for Pharmacy and Nursing);
4. Certificate of Pharmacy Practice (for candidates applying for the Pharmacy major);
5. Certificate of knowledge transfer (for candidates applying for Nursing major);
6. Documents confirming that the quality assurance threshold has been met (as above for Pharmacy and Nursing)
7. CV (according to form) certified by the leader of the agency or local authority where the candidate resides (for unemployed people);
8. Copy of birth certificate;
9. Copy of Citizen ID card/National ID card;
10. Two 3x4 portrait photos taken within 1 year from the application date. Write full name, date of birth, and place of birth on the back of the photo.
All the above documents are contained in the envelope "Admission documents" (Form issued by the Ministry of Education and Training).
Admission method
Admission
People with a college degree applying for Nursing major participate in the admission process according to the following specific admission methods:
- Method 1: Use the results of 03 subjects from the 12th grade high school study results according to the registered admission combination.
Admission combination of 03 subjects based on 12th grade high school study results:
- B00: Math, Chemistry, Biology
- B03: Math, Literature, Biology
- C02: Math, Literature, Chemistry
- C14: Math, Literature, Civic Education
- Method 2: Admission based on the candidate's average score of the entire college course.
Entrance exam (not applicable to candidates applying for Nursing)
People with a college degree must take 3 subjects in the entrance exam organized by the Admissions Council of Dai Nam University, specifically as follows:
- Banking and Finance: English, Finance - Currency, Commercial Banking Operations.
- Accounting: English, Accounting Principles, Financial Accounting.
- Information Technology: English, Discrete Mathematics, Programming Fundamentals.
- Pharmacy: Mathematics and Statistics, Analytical Chemistry, Integrated Subjects (Pharmaceutical Management, Pharmaceutical Chemistry, Medicinal Materials, Preparation).
The organization of enrollment, recognition of admission and summoning of admitted candidates are carried out according to the current regulations on regular university and college enrollment of the Ministry of Education and Training and related regulations of Dai Nam University.
